The Canada Cup crew are back with a new Calgary tournament event to celebrate the release of the much-anticipated Marvel VS Capcom 3! Set to happen a month after the game’s release, we’ll get to see people from all over try out their fresh new strategies and tactics in a tournament setting, and really put the game through it paces. I’m really hyped to see how this turns out!
We don’t want to make easy either, so we have invited the “Marvelous” one himself, USA MvC2 legend and Evil Geniuses player Justin Wong to come and have a go at it too! Now that we’ve got some streaming setup from our friends at VesperArcade, we’ve also invited Gootecks to take a crack at the pot, and to also lend us a bit of that most excellent Cross Countermatch commentary as well.
It also appears that Justin is ready to accept all challengers!?
This is blowing up to be quite the event, lol.

There are no entry fees for these exhibition tournaments, because this is just for fun! And by “fun” we mean that the winning Teams will each receive a $100 bar tab at the Marvel Madness Afterparty!
