Awesome. Last year I got lucky. I could hang out with Contra and some of the Ottawa peeps. But the two years before just kind of sucked. Having to wander all day just waiting for my 11pm flight.

Anyway…the penny slots at hooters is an easy way to get drunk for like 2 bucks. The place is so small the waitress will be back around with a new beer in like 15 20 minutes. Considering drinks cost like 12 bucks at the club, it’s worth it to spend like 3 hours chilling in front of a slot machine.
oh yeah…there’s a bus that goes to the buf airport from toronto…its costs like 20 bucks i think. my ex takes it all the time cause she’s always flying out of buf

I should be attending this year if everything goes right but obviously most people are thinking most people will flop so I suppose I’d be marked down as a maybe. I’m new to the scene in the GTA but I’ve been following the game since it was released aka following the progress of top players and watching tournament streams, etc. I plan to start making it out to tournaments in the GTA to get to know the community and also improve my game overall.

I wore it around as a cap on the first day of evo but didn’t touch it the rest of the weekend as I didn’t want my hands full as I was carrying other stuff too (stick, camera, bag, etc)
My plan originally was to bring the flag down to vegas … then after landing, hit up a walgreens or something to pickup a cheap broomstick to act as a flag pole … but that never worked out either … apprently they don’t sell broom sticks on the strip :\

Hey, anybody who has been at EVO previously, does the event take the entire 3 days (fri-sun), or is there specified “down-time” where you can go out on the strip and not miss any of the action?
I’m in Vegas right now, and realizing how awesome it will be with a bunch of people other than the family lol. Will definitely consider staying a few days after if necessary to really have some fun on the strip
It starts friday and ends sunday. Except for nighttime of course. Most people stay thursday-monday to have some time to do other shit. Or just do what most do, go during boring finals.
