FYI unlike SSFIV you can DC after “KO” is on the screen and still have no record of the match, win or loss, whereas with SSFIV as soon as KO comes up the match stands, MvC3 waits until the “saving” icon pops up right at the outro screen to save the outcome of the match.

Well…seeing that the online as a whole doesn’t work I’m not surprised that individual facets like this are just as messed up.
Are you really surprised? They made the exact same promise for TvC and yet nothing was done either.
How much research was actually done before making this thread?
From what I remember reading they said that players with a high d/c record would have priority in being matched up with other high d/c record players.
They never said if you d/c enough you will not be able to play against the people with the cleaner records until you get your d/c ratio fixed.

He also told me he wanted to keep his win percentage above 90%. He really is not good at all so I’m surprised how he even got to 4th Lord rank.
So there is definitely no Rage Quitter’s Hell in this game. There’s just the warning to make people think that there is. Getting paired with this guy 4x in a row proves it. I never ragequit before but I meet alot of ragequitters from time to time.
The jokes on that guy. Like I said graphical characters mean shit so he can have his 90% text on screen. We all know the truth.
Why do we celebritize these losers?
I’m pretty sure rage quitters just have a higher chance of being paired up against other rage quitters, but if other RQers aren’t searching for a match then you’d be next in line to get matched up.
How can you sit there and type “This PROVES it”? Are we talking about different things when we use the word “proof”?

I never disconnected. (My lackluster record proves it) So why am I getting paired up with a lot of ragequitters? perhaps both parties involved in the disconnect get penalized? About 30% of the people I play will ragequit on me.
Besides, it’s too much work to disconnect. You gotta get up, turn off the ps3. then turn it back on and then wait for the game to load up…
This hasn’t been mentioned b4 but you can get penalized b4 the match even starts by quitting at the character select screen.
Let’s say your are in a player or ranked match and you accidentally hit random all, there’s no way to de-confirm these characters, you can disconnect as soon as you pick these characters and you will get the message stating you are penalized blah blah blah.
Seriously this shit has to go. Only time I got that freaking message.
To backtrack a bit: either because there aren’t any other ragequitters for them to be matched with, or because they don’t ragequit enough.
Maybe you just piss people off.
In any case, there’s virtually no way to test whether or not ragequit hell actually exists. But, either way it’s not effective enough.
I have only had on RQ my entire time playing this game. Its has to exist. In MVC2 I got 5 RQs per day.
my solution to this is to just put my stick down and go grab a snack, or some water or whatever.
the saddest thing is that these people will play awfully laggy matches then ready back up for rematch immediately
i’m more upset about people who let the timers go to 0 on every screen than ragequitters.
Yeah its sad that these kids are having fun playing a video game online.
This is my favorite part about playing in a lobby with 1 open slot and a ton of filled private slots, I do it every match, aint I a stinker?
HA HA some kid was all ‘that’s what you think’ when i was telling him this, because most just pull their cord or turn off the game etc, but yeah there are ways to do it which is just like the match never happened, win streak in tact…everything. it’s no wonder ppl like you get mad after spending so much time on the game and at the end your opponent has ultimate control over the match outcome, i don’t do it with tekken where it takes legitimate skill to beat someone rather than xfactor or teleport/assist games, MvC is a joke so i treat it as such, just playing for fun, stay mad though 
just a lil tidbit of knowledge anyone who uses the arcade mode to search oppenents if u quit during the search you will get hit with a ragequit i was a 7th lord and i decided i didnt want to play ranked so i was exiting and it said i RAGEQUIT without even being in a MATCH
It’s weird, he thought I was mad too when actually I think it’s funny when I get people pissed that they have to quit.
