I miss CvS2 so much. It is my favorite fighting game EVER. Too bad I didn’t get that deep into it; I used EO custom grooves n shit.

I used to HATE CvS2… now, I feel it’s the successor to Super Turbo… it’s a godlike game, that I underestimated years and years ago.

I think there is a fairly good chance it’ll be similar. CvS was based on the king of fighters series, wasn’t it? The very essence of the game, the feel of it will defiantly be different though. After all, KOFXIII won’t have Sakura in it 
cvs2 is more “street fighter-ish” than kof in general. basically capcom took snk characters and made them awesome. I never even played ANY snk fighters before cvs1-2 lol…

Other than the SNK characters, S or N groove, and the team structure sans Ratios is like KoF, but that’s where it ends.
Everything else is either exclusive to the series (like ratios and roll canceling) or more like Street Fighter. Poke strings, hit confirms, throws… No super canceling from specials… CvS is almost nothing like KoF in any way except those few things I mentioned above.
Even compared to the KoF of the 2k-2k3 times, you had the assists and in 2k3, tag.

CvS2 need to be brought back on psn/xbl with ggpo. There are so many viable SNK characters in this game it not even funny. Yamazaki, Geese, Rock, Kyo, Iori, Hibiki, and sooo many other on teams back then for top players. Iyo used C-groove Sim, Maki, Rolento. Maki is less “viable” that a lot of SNK characters. To the OP, maybe you should know what you are talking about prior to making a thread on it.
