I’m sick and fucking tired of sitting through match after match, only for it to get to my turn and drop me. Again and again and again, no matter how many times I reboot the game or the system.
yeah i’m disappointed that STHD nor SFIV are using GGPO. it’s like wtf did you license it for? they better be using it on some super duper mega fighter project cause i’m gonna be pissed if they use it for some whack ass shiz instead of the good stuff. :grrr:
this net code is by far the best once you are playing but the hard part is getting to play sirlin need’s a spanking and dose he even play on PSN if not fuck him
The only interest he had in this is for offline tournaments
Btw I think the hd remix netcode is great for the most part when pings are low. It seems to be even smoother on 360 but I don’t really know why. Maybe ps3’s online interface/fl uses up more online resources than xbox 360 or some shit.
Anyway has anyone messed with the smoothing settings in higher pings? It basically just adds input delay to smooth out the jerkyness right? I usually always keep mine too off. I was just curious about what other people have there’s set to.
I haven’t had too much trouble on the Xbox 360. I’m almost positive that the difference is that the Microsoft servers are much, much better because the online is a pay subscription service unlike the PS3. It seems that the playstation network has the most problems with this game.
It has nothing to do with XBL or the PSN when someone chooses Claw or the Star Colors and the game crashes.
I don’t know how many times some ass on this forum has to give his fanboy opinion of PSN or XBL version of ST:HDR is better because of the “I only own one console and it’s better” opinion.
I own both consoles, and both versions of ST:HDR. I have over 1,000 matches in both versions.
And in both versions the game locks up, disconnects, glitches, or lags, FREQUENTLY.
Vega and Start Colors drop games like your console caught on fire, and that’s for BOTH versions. And they’ve happened at the same rates for me on both versions from what I can tell.
When I want to play someone who only owns a PS3 copy I play on the PSN. Only own a 360? We use XBL. Either way, the game crashes eventually.
The constant disconnects are pretty obnoxious. I didn’t know that there was a correlation with picking the start colors. That is good to know. I am really hoping that sfIV doesn’t suffer from the same type of problems.
As to the title of the thread… I say cruxify him! (whoever he is)
