I’ll agree with the hate on the netcode, but I’m not having all the issues that everyone else is reporting. I’m only having numerous disconnects, but no lockups, freezes, or other weird happenings.
Well, I am also having the strange health bar/name/victory glitch, but that’s not a MAJOR issue (I guess…)
i get dc’s, glitches and sometimes my ps3 also freezes up. usually if i just quit the game and load it back up it fixes the glitch and dc problems until after a while. i also find it that whenever i play quick match (friendly) or invite friends to play with me we never disconnect, well we eventually do after a few hours but thats fine. we do get glitches though, like the health bar glitch and the the background going black. but whatever…
Remix froze up my machine earlier, no buttons did anything. I had to reboot the machine and it had wiped my audio and video settings. Makes me REAL nervous.
That’s the only way I could get the darned thing to turn off. Should I just unplug it next time because this isn’t the first time my console has locked up on Remix.
The PS3 was designed so that if you ever unplug your PS3 and connect it you a new TV, if your previous setting was 1080p output, and your new TV is only 720p, it’s not going to show up if you just hot swap them.
But if you hold down on the power button during a reset or start up, it will reset the PS3 to output in composite video and stereo RCA audio, aka the default settings.
It’s a useful feature.
And yes the PS3 versions of ST:HDR and Fallout 3 are terrible. But the 360 and PC versions are not much better. Two of the most overrated games I can remember in years.
