So true =/ , what kinds of hit confirming combos can I do? I only know one … Cr (lk + lp + lk) + SA … (Which I’ll explain up in the next quote why I didn’t use in this match)
I’m having A LOT of trouble with this bnb combo… really… that 2 frames pause I must do before the last cr. Lk … is killing me!! Most of the time , when I’m doing this combo…my spiral arrow won’t come out at all… or it will break in 2 combos… one with 2 hits…and another with 3… I spended hours this afternoon practicing it… and I’m still having problems…
I’m working on it… Usually I don’t manage to do ultra on time… but this cr. LK + SA is a great alternative for the time being… Thanks!

You have no idea how ashamed I am of that first round… I reallly don’t know why I didn’t Ultra … It cost me that round… Won’t happen again…

first point: yeah it is kinda weird learning that cancel to link timing that cammy’s bnb’s require, but that being the case i can’t stress enough the effect that just that 1 combo can have on your overall gameplay. being able to combo into a knockdown for more oki pressure every time you score a hit really allows you to work cammy’s momentum game which in turn has a very real effect on the opponent psychologically, all of a sudden they are REALLY concerned about getting hit by you even once because they aren’t sure if they will be able to recover afterwards, and if they can recover how much damage will have been done before they can etc. so just keep at it till it comes naturally.
as for missing ultra oportunity’s, don’t dwell on this one too much. i personally am prone to this enough that it’s actually a serious problem in my gameplay. but that’s mainly because i ignored it as a option for so long. instead just let them come naturally and don’t get discouraged when you miss a chance. what you should do though is try to asses what it was that you were fixated on that made you ignore the ultra, and then try to focus on that less. because you don’t want to be like me nearly a year in and realizing you have a MAJOR flaw (i would say i use my ultra in less than 25% of the rounds where i get one, and that’s a god awful rate)
@sur from what a quickly saw I saw a lot of use of arrows. You even threw them when you saw guile blocking
Umm for punishment if I have no
bar I like use s.fierce punch xx SA.
And of course as the mighty spektrum said keep it simple FA crumple just ultra don’t have to be flashy all the time.

What’s funny to me is that, I expected a “Bread and Butter” combo to be extremely easy to do … but dang! To me… Doing this combo 3 times in a row is way more difficult than Cammy’s last trial … LoL!!
I got your point, I’ll start the training mode… and won’t stop until this combo become as natural to me as Cr. MK + SA… I’m VERY patient… o/
About the ultra part… I’ll try to work on that… but just like you said… won’t worry THAT MUCH with it… for the time being of course…

@CC all I can say against the sagat fight was jumping into him. As you know jumping into him equals tiger uppercut or high kick ultra.

some tips: you used Cannon Spike 3 times in the whole battle, and none of them were for AA purposes. you need to use it more… we Cammies do most damage by Spike xx FADC xx Spikeing our opponents most of the time. this is such a great tool and the threat of it scares the hell out of opponents.
at the other side, you SA too much. practice the spacing so you can use it the safe distances.
and as everyone said… practice the BnB. i agree its hard, i still miss it sometimes… but nothing good training cant do.
overall, you got a cool cammy. keep the work up. :karate:

There are a few of us that either have or use the PC version. Cammyownz is one I know of. I also have the pc version the gfwl id being the same as my xbl id.
Interesting to see you use the same bnb combo that I do. cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.lk xx SA. The reason I do it is because I used to move my stick around and get random cannon spikes with the lk,lp,lk bnb combo. Any particular reason you use this version? I like my version also because it helps to hit Ryu’s hurricane kick and go into bnb. (I kinda wonder if cr.lk hits hurricane…)
Also, great combo at 1:52. Gotta learn that one day.
I main Akuma and as such all his hit confirms start with cLP so its habit plus as maining a shoto cLP is beast and lk is ass…It’s weird with cammy because against boxer you need to end your combo with sLP or shit will whiff…
I definitely need to grab more but its sooooo much fun to just TK CS in peoples faces who don’t have a decent reversal…
Also to all cammys the only people I’ve played are Kryptic Kode and SeikuRyu…I need more (as in different) cammys to practice against to learn new strategies…Hit me up On xbl…my GT is b0kkin (zero not o) One day I hope to make a transition to cammy but right now I’m not even close to trusting myself with her against half the cast…
at around the 1 minute mark bison went for like 5 or so devils reverses in a row, and i almost yelled at my screen. keep him on the ground with cannon spike, make him respect that shit.
you used your meter a number of times to fadc out of a spiral arrow combo for a throw mixup where your basically back at neutral with him, where as if you let that combo finish you get a throw mixup on his recovery where you have a clear advantage, not to mention you have more meter for ex strikes and for dp fadc into ultra.
