good question and i tried it on Nash’s V-trigger, it doesn’t work because his V-trigger eats Cammy’s inputs with the freeze animation.
Desk did it, Cammy has Combos now.
Yo that FANG combo was insane
Oh I didn’t realize you could do EX DP after V-Trigger Spiral Arrow. Good to know lol.
Not sure how to link but here’s a video of mine against a high ranked vega

[/quote]Is the Cammy player on the Godsgarden account Kazunoko or?
I’m not sure. I know Kaz has his own account and I don’t know too much about the Godsgarden guys.
.
Option for oki that requires test to see if its viable:

And the good’ol safe meaty jab against Rashid:
@Haztlan Are you tk’ing those divekicks? How can you control which side you’ll land? The setup seemed identifcal.
If you guys could watch one or 2 of these matches and give me some advice I would appritiate it. First fighting game I’m taking seriously so trying to learn as much as I can

Yeah, these are TK dive kicks. What dictates which side she lands on is when you press the kick. If you delay a bit you’ll land in the other side and if you do it really low Cammy will end up in front. So you can to in a way where not even you can really tell where she will land beforehand.
This doesn’t works on big bodies characters, like gief. As she will always end up in front.

Your Cammy looks pretty good. Nice anti-airs with the b mp, pretty good execution overall. One thing I struggled with in SF4 and I see a little in your videos is the jab jab jump forward. I know keeping pressure is tough, but better players will punish your crossup if you make it a habit. Also, I think the target combo is -12 on block. Try to hit confirm off the jab, b mp so you don’t leave yourself to be punished. Overall, just keep playing. I think you’re off to a good start.
Ran into a gold Ken in a ft3 lobby. Does anyone else tilt when they dive kick onto a fireball?

I’m by means a pro and you played well, but this is what I saw. Your wake up game and close AA seem solid, but you under pressure, neutral, and get in game need work. You’ve practiced the walk up st mp st hp combo on wake up a lot and it shows, but when you are in other positions that you aren’t familiar with you aren’t exactly sure what to do so you become hesitant especially in the neutral (It was as if you were asking yourself how do I get in or were scared to play footsies with him so you just waddled back and forth). This uncertainty messed up your timing and hit confirms. I saw a few dropped combos and ones where you just went into auto pilot and completed the combos that weren’t actually hit as you were waiting to see what he did and then quickly tried to react to it. The only way to overcome this is by practicing in these areas until you become comfortable with them. Develop a couple different game plans for long range, neutral range, up close, and on wake up and mix between them based on what they are doing. Surprisingly playing against Karin or Ken on cpu 6 - 8 will help with your footsies. They will punish all your mistakes. It’s not like playing a real person but it will help you feel more comfortable in that position of throwing out a poke or trying to catch one of theirs.
I noticed you did a lot of cr. mp, cr. mp or jump in as your only go to’s when you were unsure of what to do, but you should always have a few mixups in mind to keep the opponent on their toes. If you keep doing cr. mp cr. mp they will just block it and won’t feel pressured and if you keep jumping in you are just going to get anti aired to death (this Rashid was just terrible at anti airing). I think of the few times you didn’t do cr. mp and instead did cr. lp you actually hit him and confirmed off it a few times. Also keep in mind cr. mp, cr. mp can be broken into by 3 frame or invincible moves. Good shotos will hit you in between if you do it more than twice in a match, however you can try doing cr. mp to cr. lp to get a counter hit if you know they are going for it. If you do get the counter you can continue into st. hp xx special. At close range or on their wake up instead of cr. mp-cr.mp I’d suggest throwing in some cr. lp to grab to keep them busy having to think about teching, then after training them to tech switch to cr. lp to st. mp frame trap to catch those grabbed button presses or even cr. lp to v-skill to catch them on the other side (use sparingly as they can hit you out of it, work wonders on the tech mashers or those nervous and you can combo st. hp into whatever on hit). Just remember to keep mixing it up with a few different strings so they can’t relax like they can with cr. mp cr. mp. Keep in mind if cr. lp counter hits the st. mp will combo so you can continue into st. hp combo. The cr. lp into st. mp can be knocked out of just like cr. mp cr. mp can, but the timing is faster and therefore harder for them to predict than the cr. mp cr. mp is especially if you mix it up. If you notice yourself getting knocked out of strings by invincibles more than once just do cr. lp or cr. mp - block and punish hard. Once you catch them with a full crush counter combo they’ll think twice before trying it again.
As Seiku mentioned your b+mp is solid, but you should try dashing after to get the cross under mix up. I know it’s hard to think about so quickly when in a match but try working on that. It catches quite a few people right now. I’d also suggest getting used to using her cannon spike to anti air at farther jump ranges to catch them trying to move in from afar. The HK version has some serious range. MK is her main go to and her lk CS punishes tight or late jumped cross overs like you were doing to Rashid.
Try not to do so many random spiral arrows. I mean if someone is rushing you down or running back a lot you can try throwing one out to stop them as it catches them low, but the move is far too punishable to be throwing it out like you were. Rashid just had no idea how to punish it was the thing. Do that to a Ryu with critical art and kiss 60% of life good bye. Same with all the jump ins. Go ahead and test it, but if they have good anti air be ready with a good neutral or dash in game to compensate as you most likely won’t be getting in that way, especially against Birdies.
Imo Cammy should be played like a wall that is moving in to crush the opponent. They can’t walked passed it and they can’t jump over it. You should be trying to force your will on them at all times to the point where when they finally have their turn they only feel like an unsafe reversal is their only option and that is the only time you should be waiting for them to do exactly what you want them too. If you watch the matches where you went in and imposed your will you completely dominated him vs the ones where you sat back a little and waited to see what he was going to do. Don’t let them breathe, but at the same time be mindful of when your turn is up to bait those reversals. For example he caught you with ex Spin on wake up when he was one hit from losing. Expect that a lot when you are pressuring with Cammy, actually don’t expect it plan it to end like that. Also don’t forget about her V-reversal when you are feeling completely overwhelmed as well. It really does give you a nice reset and can get you out of the corner.
Good luck I see you doing well for this being your first serious fighting game.

Damn you trolled him hard. It’s like you put him in a room with tons of air and then slowly sucked it all out (that corner pressure!). You know after the first round he was thinking, aw shit this is going to be some weak ass first to 3, and then you bodied his ass. The only matches he won were the ones he SRK’d in between frame traps, but then you just started baiting them to punish. I only hope I can get my Cammy looking as good someday.
This was gold back in 4. Execution is much harder this time though, gotta grind this out now.
I’m pretty sure that in this exact scenario you can use bMP instead of stLK for more 20dmg and 30 stun guaranteed.
