we all know the streetfighter crew is setting up a rematch bettwen these two popular ladies. last round cammy won so who do you think will win the second time.

Anyway, am i the only one that wonders why Cammys persona was so completelly different in that fight? Everywhere else, from flashbacks to back-ups to present time, she was cold, silent. In Adam Warrens version, she was like Mai-Shiranui or something!
I’m still trying to figure out what the hell Cammy’s official personality is supposed to be (besides “robot”).

Ive always been under the impression that Cammy was “robot” when she was under Shadaloo and a little happier after she left.
The thing is, even if im wrong, in the Adam Warren story, shes still under Shadaloos command and should act like in the other back-ups and the main story.
The only reason she would act different would be if shes a raging lesbian and Chunnersher kind of girl.
Aye. But even with a 100% robotic “practically not human at all” personality of SFA3, she still enjoys shoving her ass in peoples’ face and smiling about it. So maybe she’s a raging lesbian sex robot or something (if I were Bison, I sure as heck would at least make my future body like females even if it was female, itself 
…and given Cammy in general, Bison designing her as a ‘sex robot’ would explain a lot)
I’m thinking Warren was basing her personality off of her X-Men vs Street Fighter persona, which was a lot more meanstreaked, laughing, and taunting, than the generally-accepted-militaristic personality usually associated with Cammy that’s done throughout the comic (although honestly, I can’t really find any time in the actual games where Cammy has had that generally-accepted-militaristic-personality. Only thing that comes close to it is SFA3’s 100% robotic personality, and that’s… well, 100% robotic. In SF2, Cammy only has like, 4 lines of dialogue, 2 done in anger and 2 done in trauma, so you really can’t use that as an accurate gauge. Of course, the militaristic personality is the one she’s had in every Street Fighter anime, comic, show, and live action movie.)

Maybe young robots act young? I think Adam Warren’s depiction of Cammy and Chun Li was trying to capture them both as preteens or early teens.
Yea i know this view kinda gets blown out of the water by Hyung Tae Kim’s take on Cammy cuz she seems to have been pretty fully featured right at ‘birth’ but i think there’s kind of a point where you have to allow inevitable differences in creator liberties some space.
Also, maybe Cammy is just really confused about who she is trying to be and it more or less depends on the most recent magazine/novel/movie she saw. I’d imagine self-conscious robots would wind up emulating random human behaviors frequently.

Hahaha, I guess it’s hard for artists to keep her personality consistant among each other when they’re only there for a back-up story ride. I don’t even know Cammy’s official personality (the majority of what people think is her personality seems to mostly be based off of fandom than anything since SFA3 was mostly robot and SF2 only offered minimal dialogue which was done under tense circumstances. Then you have the various Capcom dream games where she acts differently, entirely) so whatever personality each artist would give Cammy is based off of their own fandom perceptions too, making her different from artist to artist. (technically, it’s practically spelled out that she’s “cold-hearted” during SFA3, but that sure as heck doesn’t help much since both Warren’s and the other’s depictions of Cammy could count as having the “cold-hearted” trait)
But yea, it still is really dumb. But I try to picture someone walking over to a guest artist and saying “Hey, could you make Cammy act so-and-so” and that artist might be insulted depending on their own personality, especially since they probably disagree on Cammy actually being like that (what with her IMHO having no truly defined official personality that I can think of)
well cammy had the most hits. and her job was pretty much to just keep chun li distracted while the others get rid of her father. as for cammys personality i tend to base it off the many japanese comic books she was in. and undoneko said the difference in cammys personality came when adam decided to put his own interpretation of cammy onto the scene. when she was really suppose to be a mindless drone. and please, shes not a robot.wasnt she suppose to be a clone.:rolleyes:

Official Story-line wise, Chunli and Cammy never fought.
During the time peroid of Street Fighter Alpha 3, Chunli snuck in Shadowloo along with guile and Charlie. While Guile and Charlie proceeded to destroy the Psycho Drive, Chunli set out to place explosives around the base in attempt to blow the base up.
Whil doing this, Chunli caught a glimpse of Cammy, then dissapeared.
Besidess, Cammy would never fight Chunli anyway, because during Street Fighter Alpha 3, Cammy was being hunted down by Vega and the Shadowloo dolls by Bison’s order. When Juni and Juli met up with cammy to exterminate her as ordered by Bison, Cammy told them that they were being used. After that, Cammy convinced them to join her to get Bison.
So Cammy and Chunli had the same goal, so there is no reason to fight. plus, when Chunli saw Cammy in SFA3, it was’nt more than a few seconds.

I was thinking that the rematch might happen during the tourney.
It would be like:
During their match, Bison/vega would tell who really killed chunli’s father, he points to cammy. Enraged by this Chunli goes all out on cammy. Cammy, still learning about her past , is shocked of this new revealation but must fight back and tell chunli what really happen.
See, that kind scenario would really spice up the fight if they ever were match up to fight in the tournament:cool:
thats how i would think the rematch would come about aswell.
And hopefully my girl chunners will win. 
She’s stonger than Cammy, so she should win.
