Fact: Chun-li is “The Strongest Woman in the world”…
I think its safe to assume Cammy is a woman, albeit one with green mold on her legs. I don’t think theres much doubt that Chun-li is WAY too fast for Cammy, not too mention how good her moves are.

Capcom has stated that she’s the strongest woman in the world during SF2, so it’s not just the opinion of the SF tournament audience or the fans themselves.
After Rose died, Chunli was then called strongest woman in the world in Street Fighter 2. So why Cammy was’nt stated as anything?
Besides, according to the officail tiers, Cammy could’nt even beat Vega.
Chunli is one tier away from Cammy, meaning that chunli is stronger.
Just because Chun-li calls herself the strongest woman in the world in her win quote doesn’t mean it’s a fact. She’s just got a big ego. 
And Cammy seems faster than Chun-li… At least to me.
also this is the comic not the game. they don’t follow game continuity THAT closely. cammy in her winning qoute says she’s the strongest body gaurd in the world, but according to you vega who is also a body gaurd beat cammy.so that proves winning qoutes don’t mean sh*t.

If Cammy’s weaker than Chun, explain how Cammy can launch a guy about 24 feet straight up and THROUGH a metal ceiling, not to mention use the force of the attack to follow him up? All Chun can do is a half-ass launcher that launched MAYBE 3 feet off the ground, and that was using all the strength in her entire body (vertical handstand mule kick stronger than vertical side kick, in games AND reality). Chun = weaker than Cammy. In every manga that featured Cammy, she’s performing miraculous feats of strength during fights (splitting a tree in half with Cannon Spike, Axel Knuckle destroying the base of a tree 15 feet in diameter, Spiral Arrow-jumping some 45 feet, etc). All Chun does is MAYBE jump high…but never higher than Cammy, except in the SfTAM anime.

Well, Chun Li has this chi power that all SF chars have, so that wouldn’t make her average. So, she would still give Cammy a run for her money lol. At least her supers would wipe Cammy out lol.
Or, Cammy could cannon spike chunners, do a frankenstiener, or whatever to wipe Chun out. still a damn good match.
Agreed, no matter if you’re on the Cammy side or Chun’s, it’s going to be one damn good match. With Cammy’s ‘advancements’ and the way she’s presented in comics it would seem as though she has more agility. But I’d wager the Legendary Legs come out on top. After all, Chun Li is still part of the SF3 storyline, as Cammy goes to supposibly lead a normal life.
I hope Chun Li wins. I like Cammy but man, she’s beat the crap out of enough people already. She kinda beat Chun Li in the back up to issue 2 and Vega in issue 5. In issue 7 she kicked the crap out of a ton of terrorists in the present and the past, as well as Satsuki. In issue 8 she killed even more thugs as Shadowloo Cammy. Now it’s time she got her ass handed to her a little bit. I always like characters to lose once in a while when their streak is too good. Also, Cammy might be physically stronger and a little faster than Chun, but Chun is no slouch in those departments either. With a combo of her strength, speed and ki manipulation, something Cammy does not have, Chun should be able to come out on top. I guess we’ll have to wait till issue 11 though. And let’s hope the fight is in isue 11 and it isn’t where they don’t meet till the last page like that Ryu/Sagat thing a while back. Either way, I’m excited to see the outcome.

Oh, brother! For the longest time I just decided to ignore this Thread but since it is still around let me settle this once and for all.
First of all, NO MANGAS, ANIMES, COMICS, CARTOONS ARE CANON/OFFICIAL. THE ONLY THINGS THAT ARE OFFICIAL ARE THE GAMES AND THERE STORYLINES IN WHATEVER WAY CAPCOM OF JAPAN DECIDES TO CHANGE/RETCON THEM. IF CAMMY DEFEATS JESUS CHRIST IN ANY COMIC IT DOESN’T MEAN ANYTHING.
Now let’s look at what Cammy has done officially in terms of wins and losses.
She beat Balrog(Ninja.) He officially let her win.
She beat Juni and Juli, so she is stronger than fake Cammys.
Vega(Dictator) kicks her Ass along with the rest of the Dolls.
Now for Chun-Li -
Vega kicks her Ass too during SF Zero 2, but kicked her Ass alone. He didn’t beat her up at the same time he was beating up 12 other people.
She either defeated Vega during SF2 or made a very strong showing as Urien credits her with taking down Shadowloo. She even manages to impress Urien while fighting him and he lets her adopted kid go.
I’m not even going to go into how Capcom states she is currently the strongest woman in the world in SF after Rose’s death because that has been stated. Chun-Li owns Cammy in official storyline, plain and simple.
And in the end, so what? You can still like Cammy better than Chun-Li even if she is weaker than Chun-Li. You don’t have to run around saying Cammy is stronger than Chun-Li just because you like her better. If you insist she is stronger you need to find some defenitive evidence from the Games to make your case. Hell, Ryu is my favorite video game character ever. Do I think he can single handedly defeat Gill, Oro, Gouki, or Orochi? NO. Chun-Li’s my second favorite video game character. Do I think Chun-Li can defeat Rose, Morrigan, Vice or Mature(Two with Orochi Bloodline)? NO. Why do you like Cammy in the first place? I’m sure it has nothing to do with a belief that she can beat everybody up. It has to do with other factors that make her your favorite. Just own up to it and stop saying Cammy can beat Chun-Li because she can not.
yes, i believe she CAN. don’t get me wrong i like chun li but what we are all speaking about are the COMICS itself not the game or movie etc. from what has been shown cammy seems to be alot more enhanced then chun li she even broke a whole threw a metal door.while chun li seems to be extremely skilled in her fighting techniques can she really withstand a woman that was designed to kill? as many others said, either way it will be a good match and i’m looking forward to it.
