This can be blocked fairly easily by pressing df~f on wakeup. ~4f timing window.

It can also be auto-correct DPd (~3f window).
Ryu’s LP/HP DP in particular are stupidly dangerous. If he accidentally goes forwards with it then it just gets knocked out of the air for bugger all. But if he does it the right way then it trades straight into Ultra / Super / Dash DP.

It’s possible to time the kick so your leg isn’t out by the time the DP hits, which prevents him going straight into Ultra, but you’re still eating DP into whatever the fuck his meter allows.

Abuse it while you can. As soon as your opponents learn to look for it you’re in for some pain.

Also Cammy can do unblockable LK Cannon Strike against some characters.

  • Back throw, [wait a bit + walk forward, in no particular order], jump forward, Cannon Strike at peak.
    You have to walk forward quite a distance, and the wait is just a few frames.

However; this can be ducked, and you can’t combo off it. So it’s pretty useless. At least until AE.

Autocorrect dp is 1f window not 3,if u do it too early it will go the wrong way or lose.
df~f isnt 4frame window either , u still have to block it in a 1~2(?)f window after the crouching ,just allows u to block it later.

Just measured the exact windows vs Ryu. No ~ signs this time.

Edit: Fixed for error margin. It turns out that Cammy’s unblockable setup isn’t frame-strict, and how hard it is to deal with depends on how well you time it.

Neutral -> Block: 1-2f
Crouch -> Block: 3-4f
Crouch -> AC DP: 1-2f (turns out there’s 1 non-reversal frame that doesn’t AC)

No idea what the hell is going on with that first value. I’ve performed the setup in several different ways and this was the result every time.

I’m gonna analyse this crap a bit more to see if I can find out what’s happening. Perhaps there’s something special about Ryu’s hitbox that gives it an error window and I keep hitting the tail end of it.

Edit: Confirmed that the setup has an error window. Will have full information in a few minutes.
Edit2: Done. There’s a 1 frame error window when performing the setup. When timed perfectly you end up with the minimum values listed above, when late by a frame you get the latter values.

I decided to pick up Ken as a second and saw this right after I saw the Cammy unblockable. Did anyone test his way to get out of Cammy’s unblockable

I’m unsure of what that “forward~mk” between the throw and the j.lk means.

i can’t land the fierce one vs rufus, any specific timing on it?

make sure you step forward then whiff far mk. jump hp (not too early, and not too late!)

backthrow, :f:~mk (i plink it with lk, emmmm just in case :shy:), jump hp

when i tested this on cammy it couldnt be ducked

backthrow, whiff stand mk, j.hp. unblockable on akuma. all DPs whiff. (you dont need to move). obviously gives you enough time to OS.

theres a different timing for the jump where it lands only crossup. (safe from dps too).

j.hp can be crouched.

Resurrecting thread because of a new (series) of UBs discovered by Stein involving AE 2-hit hk arrow setup into low hk Cannon Strike.

I looked over this UB setup with video capture and redid it a bunch of times. Here’s what I found:

  • The unblockable from Stein’s setup (cr.lp cr.lk far hp xx hk arrow) is from a CS11 (frame 11 Cannon Strike; 1 frame above minimum height). It also works from a CS12 (frame 12 CS; 2 frames above minimum height). It does not work from CS10 (lowest strike) or CS13, or any other CS. So it’s a 2-frame window on the Cannon Strike.

  • The same setup works from cl.hp far hp xx 2-hit hk arrow in exactly the same way.

  • Frame advantage for the CS11 UB is +5/+2. For the CS12 UB, it’s +4/+1 since you go a bit higher and take extra time to come down. It can be blocked crouching unfortunately, but is mostly reversal safe (I’ve only been able to stuff it with a very late EX upkicks).

  • You can’t EX hooligan punish a lk upkicks by Yun. If you dodge the lk upkicks, you’re at +23 or +22 (depending on CS11 or CS12) which isn’t enough time for that (it’s hardly enough time to react as is), but you can walk up far fierce xx 2-hit arrow again or something quick like that.
