That’s because frame advantage of cannon strike on block varies inversely with the height at which the cannon strike was blocked. That means that Cammy will have more and more frame advantage the closer to the ground she is when the cannons strike is initially blocked.
Of course, that’s not the case just for Cannon Strike. It applies to all arial attacks.
yeah, that makes sense - so is there any height, where cannon strike barely touches the opps foot and therefore is + on block? what is the possible range, ie from +1 to -10?
just want to know if it pays off to build pressure and train the right timing off CS?

Does this also work with Cammy? I can do Fei Long’s shortcut easily but not Cammy’s

Oh btw, is cammy’s CS->FADC->ultra really worth it? Because i mean the timing is really hard, ive seen top players miss it a lot and on top of that it doesnt even hit completely so i was just wondering if it is realy worth learning?
I would say anything is worth it, if you can take a big chunk of damage off your opponent.
as for the learning part, I would say you should learn it. more arsenal in your game is better than a few.
The whole animation doesn’t go off, but it hits for nearly the full damage of the Ultra. This was like, Cammy question #1 when the game came out lol. It’s definitely worth it, hitting your Ultra off a cannon spike is great.

I run into a ton of Blankas and Balrogs.
In G2 I run through a literal army of flowchart Ryus on XBL, the other upper tier chars seem evenly played. EvilDrake is the only cammy I have seen so far. Perhaps keeping the cammy challenge tags on keeps most away to avoid mirror matches.
I have only been able to play it a few days so far, 3k GP =/ It seems like this game is losing steam on XBL because I shouldn’t be so high from a lack of play time and skills, but it’s fun.
Amidst like 5 or 6 rollbacks, I finally managed to hit G2. So far, I’ve seen a nice mix of characters.
I haven’t really played any Blanka’s CMode period… maybe one or two at most. It’s the same case with Cammy. I still wear one of the Cammy icons too, so I guess that could be what’s deterring them.
However, I’ve run into tons of Guile’s. I think my last three uploaded replays were all against different Guile’s.
