The COmmand list shows that cammy has a counter move during vtrigger if you press fowward+allkicks during a block. I haven’t been able to do it though… Can some1 confirm that it’s possible to do?
Then use cr.hp it’s the new far.hk and hearing the crouchcounter sound is so good,cause you know,now your opponent will eat 300 damage.
Keep her at st.mk range and anti-air her every time she jumps,against her V-Skill cr.mk xx HK Arrow should beat it. And hold your ground,Mikas spam mk as soon they get a hit,I mean why not,they move forward and are +2 on block.
Just keep her at range,punish PS with st.mp-> st.hp on close range and st.mp-> cr.mk on far range,or just cr.mk if she’s out of range for the mp.
And don’t forget you can still backdash away from throws.

My winration is about 90% with Cammy and she is so much fun, I can’t wait for Beta 3,hopefully my DS4 will be supported then,the emulator is kinda…strange he don’t like it,when I press two buttons at once. What leaded to a lot of missed V-Triggers during my punishs or to counter fireballs.

as rayplay mentioned, she can link any jab into b.mp if you’re close enough so my go to combo during this beta time was
Strike, cr.LP, TC xx EX Hooligan, Dive, LK or HK dp (seems mk is too slow?)
IIRC TC xx EX hooligan dive, DP is 303, 350ish with EX DP
without meter
Strike, cr.LP, TC xx LK or HK dp
Strike, cr.LP, TC xx any Arrow (HK is one hit)
Note that arrow ender leaves you directly next to the enemy so while it does less damage (HK does least since it only hits once) it is probably preferrable

TC is punishable if you clip some one out of the air (say you try to TC right as they jump). I hope this is fixed somehow?
cr.HP(CC) pops up, not sure what you can get out of it. It’s one of the few things that will allow for
from the correct distance, Arrow->Ex dp works in the corner (possibly also lk.DP, can’t remember)

Got in on the Beta over the weekend, played a BUNCH of Cammy today. First time with V.
IIIII LIKE IT.
They’re doing interesting things with the Cannon Strike properties and CS off of Hooligans. EX Hooligan CS connecting lets you juggle into Cannon Spike now, that’s nifty. V-Reversals are the new “get that target combo crap out of my face”. Everything seems to pause for a frame to let you connect in whatever else you can think of, weird change but that’s cool too!
Oh and of course b.mp is incredibly fast so this allows for very hard hitting punishes. I didnt have much chance to test but it seemed good against most of karins shenanigans.
I’m currently checking my notes.
There are some things that bother me.
-Cammys cr.mk has not hitbox on her feet,again,like in SFIV. Neither on GC or Beta1&2. Would be cool,if they could fix this.
-It seems that you have to block hooligan divekicks now the direction they land and no longer the side Cammy started,might be my opponents.
-Her divekick seems to be + on block,but has very little hit and blockstun. This might mean,the timing to start pressure of a divekick has to be realy early.
-Her V-Skill seemed to be extremly slow in Beta 2 compared with GC or Beta1. The startup looked allmost identical to the one we have in SFIV. I had in Beta2 more succes using divekick hops to go around projektils.
She really isn’t meant to do divekick pressure in this game. She’s more like her CvS2 incarnation where she focuses more on a strong ground game, even if she has a divekick.
Divekick out of hooligan always had to be blocked as if they had crossed up even in the first beta.
I sort of felt like something was a little off about her V-Skill, but I couldn’t really be sure as I didn’t get as much time with the beta this time around as I did the earlier one. I concur though, I gave up on trying to use divekick as a pressure tactic a la USFIV shortly after the first beta started unless it was out of a hooligan or something on knockdown; she doesn’t really seem to be able to take to the sky as effectively as before and I had to adjust accordingly.
Well her V-Skill is just so slow now. Reaction with a divekick hop was more effective,than trying to counter fireballs with the V-Skill.
Hell in Beta 1 I could just make V-Skill if Ryu made cr.mk xx Hadoken,now I got always a counterhit.
The V-Skill is to slow there,I hit people only with reads now and never on reaction,however I was able catching them with Divekick hops on reaction. Thats why I think that her V-Skill got drastic nerfs. btw. the divekick hits there super low
