I think the key against bison is to pay attention to his charge and change your strategy based on that. When he doesn’t have charge you can be more aggressive. Once you’re on him he can’t do much. He’s not a true wall like gief is
@cipher quit being so tough lol I bet even you even give that some merit now. I personally think her v-reversal needs to be addressed again. Given her loss of meterless, fully invincible dp, and her status as a glass cannon…cammy should get a good reversal now. Its better but the startup is…way too slow and I don’t like that it’s airborn honestly.
It’s not just you. Everyone has issues with these characters as they benefit from lag as it’s hard to react to those moves. Offline I can walk forward a bit and block, but online that EX move is going to catch me no matter what as you basically only see the end of it rather than the whole animation. It’s like Necro said you have to watch that charge and just not go in unfortunately until they blow it. The fact they can get away with spamming these moves plus the buffs just further helped them up the ladder.
I’m not going to say gief is favored or unfavored at this point, but this is the change I noticed immediately after S2. Without a meterless DP he can harass with tick strings into SPD much easier now without fear. Because of this you’ll end up eating a few more hits now trying to jump or dash out trying to not get SPD’d or you’ll eat a few more SPD’s if you don’t. Next thing I noticed is now that it’s easier to whiff punish we are more likely to get caught trying to catch him. I tried doing st mp to catch his jabs like in S1 and ended up getting spd’d after his whiffed cr lp. I did my usual st mp, st hp block string that I used to catch them mashing jab when up close and I got spd’d after the st hp was blocked. Before I swear I could walk out, but now only jump/dashback works but loses to his st hk free if you do it which means you can’t st hp safely anymore. I’ve since moved farther out and switched back to st hk as the main button to punish his whiffed moves or to catch them coming to CC. It seems to work better at catching people than S1, so there is that, but if Gief gets in now it’s pretty hard to not get destroyed trying to avoid the next SPD into stun. Then if you factor in our damage reduction (on throws, SA and less meter/CA) and the white life regeneration being slowed (look at white life on a blocked hp/v-reversal) you’ll see we do less damage and take more white life damage than we did before in a matchup that already favored him health wise. It’s not impossible but it’s definitely harder and requires us to be right 6 times vs his 2 times basically.
Are Cammy’s frametraps and blockstrings still the same this season?
Yeah they are all the same but some new ones where added. B+mp is now effective as a frame trap. Only thing you really need to adjust is ex dive kick and not using DP on wake up as it’s not 100% invincible anymore.

I discoverd that Cammy loses to the following characters 6-4 or worse:
Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Chun-Li, Cammy, Dhalsim, Zangief, Birdie, Laura, FANG, Rashid, Juri, R.Mika, Guile, Alex, Balrog, Bison, Vega, Ibuki, Urien, Karin, Necalli, Nash
Seems like Necro was right and Cammy loses to anyone in the cast, I mean she even loses the mirror 6-4, the overlords at Evethubs said so.

also counter hit 4mp, is hit confirmable with hkCS. I tried with hkSA, but I dont have the reactions for it yet. Maybe one of you 3s bros can try to see if you can get the hkSA on reaction to the counter 4mp.
Im switching from Karin to probably cammy since I like her frame traps an her combos are alot easier anyways i have an issue getting in on most characters seems like im just walking forward an pressing s.mk

Is Cammy’s 2hp xx super, easier to hitconfirm in S2?
Nothing wrong with walking forward and honestly its the most effective way to get in considering Cammys really good walk speed this maybe obvious but also walk back as u walk forward to establish ur spacing. Try to utilize her other normals crhp, crmk (best normal IMO) and stHP, and look out for opportunities to whiff punish and counter poke. You can try to dive kick but since the patch it has become less effective.
Always remember that there is no hurry to get in on opponents and in some cases just playing footsies is a great way 2 get ur opponent to do something stupid

2HP = cr.HP in anime notation. Joystick/dpad inputs are based on a numpad. People have been writing with that for who knows how long. (read: http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Strategy_Guide#Joystick_Notation)
For some odd reason it feels ridiculously easy to hit confirm now.
They added +1f of hitstun, but that doesn’t mean necessarily it has 1 more frame to cancel into VT/CA. But it may be the case, I think only toolassisted can help to be sure what exactly has changed;
How does CA work? Framedata says it’s got 3f of startup, so you should be able to link into it after counterhit cr.hp judging by advantage/startup alone. Idk if it has travel time or anything.
Oh My God my friend’s extremely turtle Balrog is so painful to deal with. I have to work. So hard to get the damage and just one touch from Balrog, activates v Trigger = dead Cammy.
