I named the video ‘vs laggy Guile’ because of how I dropped a c mp x2 combo in game 2. And who dares jump in on Cammy at the start of the round? The blatant audacity! You can’t deny my reactions are good. I use v skill and super to punish fireballs on reaction…EXCEPT VS Guile! The fights start at 1:40.

I still think VS Guile is a bad match match but it’s not terrible. The one think that guile player did wrong was he didn’t flash kick AA at all so his overall strategy wasn’t gd. Also his fireball game wasn’t the best. When u have meter it becomes easier but overall he has the tools to keep u out very well

Whiffing s HK VS dash happy characters like Necalli/Nash could yeild a big payoff! I just don’t know what I’d combo with. Would f+HK, c MP, DP reach? If not, c MK, DP?
It depends on where it hits to be honest, but the best non close up option is to dash b+mp TC xx SA as that will work at any range after a CC (takes some practice to learn to react to it in time). F+hk after only works if you catch them nearly point blank unfortunately. Cr mk can work from slightly farther ranges and of course SA works too but is dismal damage.
@forest31 on the Guile games. It looks to me like it’s an issue with your spacing and the defense required to reach that spacing. In the first game you are about the perfect range to punish his sonic booms, but still to far to really use his normal’s so it was working. In the second game it looked like you were trying to force yourself into that same spot no matter what he was doing. This obsession to get back to that range left you open to jump ins, anti airs, and throws. I think being a little more patient in this match up and just blocking a few fireballs, waiting to see if he jumps or dashes, and then slowly moving forward to get you back to the position you want will help you in this match up. You asked why he had the audacity to jump at you and it’s because you never anti aired it so he kept abusing it. You’re reactions tend to only be good when you are looking for something, but in this case you weren’t looking for him to jump so you couldn’t react. Just something to think about.

It’s blocked in my country too (Russia btw, so I’m not very surprised). I had to use proxy to watch it. Imo it gets more interesting in the last half with CC combos and resets.

We understand just fine, CA loses its invincibility later on, from that point it’s just simple hitboxes, it’ll win, trade or get straight up beaten. You want to AA people that jump towards you from far distances, there is no threat if they jump from far away.If you know there is a chance the CA trades or gets beaten from that distance, then don’t risk it untill you are in range.

All I said was that I wanted one tiny buff. Then someone tried to help me, which I GREATLY appreciate, but he didn’t, so I explained why it didn’t help. That’s all.

I anti-air mainly with back+mp or st.hk,unless the jump-in is realy far away,were my pick is H DP.
Against certain things like Necallis divekick I also use M divekick over everything.

I can only assume Capcom did that on purpose to allow your opponent some ability to stop it if you just throw it out there. It is really fast so it’s not like jabbing out a regular dive kick. They probably found they needed to push it all the way back to her ass just so people had enough time to respond. It does look stupid though when you look at the hit boxes.
I’ve used Spiral Arrow to anti air a far away jump. It can definitely work. Ideally QCF+MK for best long range damage. QCF+HK 2nd hit is what, 40? 30? Same as s LP? The Super Freeze is a big warning to the opponent. It’s easy to try to trade hits VS an opposing Cammy’s Super.
That reminds me that SA has way more range than opponents think Cammy can have. I remember catching opponents as they walked towards me, like Poongko did VS Gamerbee. Unsafe, but it’s fast enough to punish a forward walk. Like an EX Sonic Boom but no meter required. EX SA has lots of uses too, crossing up and going through fireballs. I’ve won a match by doing wakeup c LP, QCF+KK whdn cornered. A gamble tho.

So what do you think about his comment of her getting some oki…I think hes a bit biased as he is a GG player and while I do agree I don’t think they plan on letting anyone else other than mika get a lot off knockdowns outside of v-trigger.
