Cammy Combos and Glitches

I actually posted pretty much the same combo a few pages back
FAlv2, TK dive, cr. FP, cr.MK xx SA, FADCf, cr. lp, cl.FP xx CS, FADCf, CS

The combo is…VERY situational
if you’re going for damage, just SA xx super will do almost as much (actually more…just tested for 544 damage)
if you’re going for stun j.FP cl.FP xx CS-> FADCf-> CS
425 damage and 700 stun
yes, it’s less damage and stun, but you’re also only spending 2 bars instead of 4 (for only 105 less damage). IF you want to spend the extra 2 bars and have ultra you now also have the opportunity to FADC the second one into GDS for 630 damage (could be wrong, they weren’t at full like and the last hit was scaled at 47%) and 700 stun

HOWEVER, FADCf drill has one very good use. If you have the meter (and don’t want to use all 4 for the super), punishing with cr.mk xx SA-> FADCf->s.lp, cl.FP xx cannon spike is a good way to tack on 120 damage and 220 stun (325/500…up from 205/280) if it’s going to kill some one

also, standing lp does 5 more damage, so I suggest using that instead of cr. lp (unless you meant close LP >.>)

probably most bar efficient combo off FA is one ex dive.
having bar to make ur random DP’s safe is a good thing =)

btw I completely agree with your analysis of course. sa into super is far better for the same meter cost, not to mention I don’t think I’ll be able to pull out that crazy combo in real matches (it’s like… six 1-frames links in a row?) :stuck_out_tongue:

and yeah, I meant cr.lp… I find the linking somewhat easier with that; didn’t even notice st.lp was more damaging.

Ok cool. I was under the impression that jumping in on shotos was a no-no, and pretty much stuck to that. Good to hear I’m not the only one coming to these conclusions.

Well apparently, jumping in on a shoto is fine if you’re doing an EX Cannon Strike…

SRK’s still beat it out it seems. Maybe I don’t have the timing down quite right, I’ve heard you have to hit the EX DK really early so it hits them in the mid-section instead of the head. Can be hard to judge that distance though, and most of the time the SRK will beat it out or trade, with me taking the brunt of the damage.

was it ex q.spin knuckles -->hk canon spike --> ultra?
or was the canon spike ex?

the last combo is EX spin knuckle, Cannon Spike, FADCbackwards, Ultra

that combo works with regular SBK to correct? i don’t see why it wouldn’t just wanted to be sure, nice combo though

yeah it does i just wanted to be flashy with it. Just cause EX SBK covers ground faster and goes further

Excuse the brain-fart, but FADCb -> Ultra requires your opponent to be in the corner right? I totally whiffed my FADC Ultra today at mid-screen, embarassing :frowning:

but you can do it mid screen… just has smaller window to connect

really depends on the character…on most characters it should hit unless you did it too late…there’s rarely a time when you do it too early Unless you do CS FADCf CS FADCb Ultra. I know on dan it will pretty much hit 100%…I think I’ve gotten a one hitter on chun before

I’m starting to think later once Cammy users can utilize it as a stall tactic for time if they get the infinite at an opportune time in a close match (i.e. Stun).

thats true but given the window for reversals i wouldnt find it a good stall tactic in a tourney and if you get the hit why not go for some damage with your ex bars other than trying to dive repeatedly when its been stated it scales horribly outside akuma.

A lot of tactics once deemed unreasonable or risky in early play eventually became standard. I could definitely see this being used considering how some people are already saying it’s not that hard to combo.

Just to clarify, I didn’t mean stalling for 20 seconds with an inf, I mean like if there’s 5-3 seconds left on the clock this could be used to stall or pressure.

i can see it work for like 10 seconds left, you manage to get in and you make them block 4 ex dive kicks and ur opponent starts mashing and you block after the 4th dive kick and he whiffs uppercut XD

Damn, I wish I recorded my games. I did SpiralArrow->CanonoSpike against some ken player midscreen on ranked for a 2 hit combo. I can’t for the life of me repeat the link again @ mid screen afterward. This game’s combo links are crazy. It seems anything CAN be a combo if you can time it right.

This is happening to me too, somebody did it on me, the link, so i rushed into training mode to try reproduce it for myself, no joy :crybaby:
