u will be surprised how often you ll be able to land it as a part of the mix up game .
Example jump hp ,down mp , walk a bit >>>> opponent will expect a grab , he will try to grab or hit low ,then do an instant canon strike (not even ex one) link into combos etc… there is many setups to this
also the instant canon strike will give you free meter gain ^^
thats probably the case but since you could just do one ex then a normal cannon strike that would probably be better so you can save meter since you can still combo off the normal one and use meter for better things.
Thats what i was looking for before even trying to connect ex versions but no, ill check framedata later to see if its theoricaly possible ,i dont think so
EX instant-air cannon strike is insanely good on mix-up. Instant overhead that’s totally safe and links into s. MP/FP for huge damage. It also goes into her ultra for an easy 50% damage combo.
Yeah, only that you can reversal an ex cs easily in comparison to reversaling a shoryu. It’s a great tactic though. I was fighting an Abel last night and I followed up every non-techable knock-down with a cross-up cannon strike, blocked or hit I would follow that up with an TK’d EX cannon strike. Half the time he would attempt a reversal grab which was stuffed by the EX cannon strike into a follow up combo, or he would block it and I would be at frame advantage. Win-win. Naturally a character with a good reversal can stop this, but that’s when baiting comes into play. :nunchuck: Gotta love Cammy.
The funny thing about those EX TKCS are that they are amazing easy to do rather than the normal versions, I was bored in Trial mode so I started doing the EX version and did them in complete succession~

cause i think thats now her best move cause it frees you from low hits and besides Ryu SRK might beat out some normals and special moves

u can mix it up on wakeup too , fake ones , walkin then do it last moment , if its a ex one full damage guaranted else u can just link normals into canon drill or canon spike
I can’t seem to get much use out of the DK against any shotos. It always just trades up with SRK’s and I take more damage then they do. Is it a timing thing? I’m really loving the TK DK against non-shotos though.
Generally against Shoto’s I never use it unless they actually know not to wake up shoryuken (Actually I never jump on Shoto’s), if thats the case I’ll act like I’m about to throw them when they wake up and just TK-DK them.
not really the FADC from SA doesnt stun them enough in order to do anything after
kind of a waste IMO id rather go for a CSpike, FADC, then Ultra or another CSpike
