Cammy Combo/Tech Thread: Target Confirmed!

Unless you carry him near the corner with the spiral arrow. How does the corner affect the setup? Do you guys have any decent corner setups so far? (Still this is really great stuff)

I haven’t got the dive kick to cross up one time since release. Is it impossible?

In the corner its even better cause you dont even need to immediately divekick in order to make backroll dp whiff,it will whiff anyway :slight_smile:
If opponent doesnt quickrise or backroll though you corner yourself if you let the hooligan finish (you still have time to jump out of the corner safely but no meaty pressure after). You can actually divekick and stay out of the corner by confirming the slow rise and still be able to apply meaty pressure after but since it will burn up your vtrigger empty i dont know if its worth it. Maybe if opponent is on the verge of getting stunned.

I got no Reversal to work against this, don’t know if thats a safejump, I’m bad in developing tech myself.

No Quickrise: you land before they stand up.
Quickrise: If they quickrise I use L Cannon Strike to land, I usualy stay outside of DP range with this and DP’s just whiff, for a free punish.

Can someone test this? Like I said I’m bad in developing tech and found this by playing around with the wakeup recording in training.

Instant air dive-kicks are becoming easier. You have to do a quick intial motion with the stick and then delay your button press for a split second.

You can V-Skill OS throw tech with Cammy by plinking the MP + MK with the LP + LK. I did it after dive kick, and if you’re close enough and your opponent tries to throw you, you will tech. Otherwise if you are not in range to get thrown the opponent will whiff, you will do cross-up spin knuckle.

What does TC refer to in the following?

cr.lp -> TC xx HK DP (222/380)
cr.lp -> TC xx MK Arrow (195/345)

You can’t crossup divekick in this game. At least it’s not intended.

You can actually V-Skill stHP xx HK SA.
Or even jiHK crMK HK SA. But its a tiny bit harder, V-Skill is easier and more dmg.

Setup vs nash: vtrigger combo ending in hk sa>mp hooligan>lk divekick right after cammy crosses over him. Since you have to manually time the divekick the timing is a bit tricky,nothing that training cant fix though.

Anyway if nash quick rises:
Reversal Ex dp whiffs,if he tries to reversal vtrigger out he gets stuffed LOL

Backroll:
Reversal ex dp whiffs,if nash tries to reversal vtrigger back divekick chases him down giving you a full combo,if he tries to reversal vtrigger up he teleports in front of you,giving you a free dp punish as he lands. If you do the divekick earlier and he teleports away you can still punish him with hk super,timing is really strict though.

No quick rise : let the hooligan finish and jump forward. If you take a small step forward before the jump, jhp hits front,jlk hits crossup and makes reversal ex dp whiff but nash can vtrigger his way out for free. Instead after the mp hooligan ends,you do lp hooligan and divekick at the last possible frame.
If done correctly you go over reversal ex dp and punish it with the divekick but since nash is airborne you get only 60 dmg and a knockdown. If nash tries to reversal vtrigger back,divekick chases him down but he can block it (you are in his face with frame advantage though). If nash tries to reversal vtrigger up,divekick will autocorrect and hit him but since hes airborne you only get 60 dmg and a knockdown again(still better than him reseting back to neutral ofc). If you let the lp hooligan end,you punish both reversal ex dp and vtrigger up for 100 dmg+knockdown,vtrigger back will block the razor edge (not worth it imo since you lose momentum if he blocks)

Just a note, there is no reason to be scared of Nash’s EX kick thing on wakeup, it doesn’t have lower body invuln. Just meaty that motherfucker all day, even meaty divekicks work if you find the setup for it (hooligan after a target combo or a super works great).

nash quickrises ex kick thing gets stuffed,vtrigger gets stuffed stmp links after stjab counter hit
Nash backrolls ex kick gets blocked after crjab,vtrigger back gets tagged by stmp,vtrigger up gets punished (if your timing is a bit off you can stuff it too lol)
No quickrise you land from empty nj,if you stmp immediately it hits meaty stuffing everything again

note:if nash back rises and vtriggers os nj doesnt come out

Now i need to find the nash that bodied me by vtriggering out of pressure every time couple days ago

Whats the most damage you can get from a single bar of meter with no CC or V-Trigger?

j.HP > TC xx EX Hooligan > throw (313)
j.HP > TC xx EX DP (320 corner)

The second one does more only in the corner because it gets an extra hit on the DP. Probably not the best, who has better?
