Iām not a believer in the āunblockableā hooligan setup which can be jabbed, even the dive kick.
The unescapeable hooligan Mixup shouldnāt be your go to thing after the EX Divekick. Use it sometimes, use it once per match.
The effect is much better than.
You can still try LP into 50/50. Sweep for the knockdown, DP for damage or develope different new mixups and setups after the EX Divekick.
I said like 5 times already, I suck in developing stuff like this, I leave this to you guys.
Most of the time I try and sweep them when I hit an EX Dive midscreen, and then just meaty/throw, but I am not sure if that is a consistent thing people are doing. Otherwise I dp.
Hooligan shenanigans are too easy to escape once your (competent) opponent is looking for them. The primary mixups in this situation are left/right and meaty/throw. She does have other options but those are the most stable and will give you better results in the end. The other stuff should really only be brought out just a handful of times over the course of a set.
iām convinced that the jab reset post ex dive is the best option personally
b+mp reset allows you to dash under as well.
if you use medium punch hooligan after st hp you can beat st.jabs

I think EX divekick > MK spiral arrow > dash forward meaty is the strongest option, gives you damage, corner carry and a mixup. You can always opt for a st. lp reset once you have them not thinking about it.
Extra info on this: The higher you hit the ex divekick the more likely you are to cross sides post hit, so adjust your motion accordingly.
I really dislike the way that EX Dive juggles, I canāt really tell where Iām suppose to do a QCF since I canāt realiably tell which side my opponent is or in which side he will land.
Thats why Iām using sweep right now, its preeetty good. But if I could MK SA them I would, just 10 less dmg and good corner carry.
Loving these videos. More meaty setups please (maybe one after wake up Cannon spike, like dash st hp to catch cr lp or a medium?). Just thought Iād mention f+hk works as well on back recovery and you can combo from it, but Iām assuming you are using st mk because f+hk is negative on block so if they do block you kind of gave up your turn, but worth mentioning if youāre facing a cr lp masher or wake up dper who likes to back recover. It definitely is interesting that the st mk works on both normal and back recovery.

I think the idea of it is cool.
My only thing with reversal stuffing is that if you stuff them, youāve given up a ton of damage. If they donāt reversal in a few of these, I think you are at a disadvantage.
I mean, hooligan is a noob killer at this point, I tried a few things last night, and even if they donāt LP you out of it, most people just block it.
I personally donāt think any of the mixup in that video are any good/real. SA after knockdown will make you - on their tech wakeup and hooligan is justā¦ bad. You wonāt ever see any half-decent player reversal dp if they see you in the air hooligan, most player will just wake up and lp you out of it. Hell, they can even just block the divekick and be + right after.
