Anyone else seen/heard SF character referenced? I know I’ve heard some songs and seen some movies, just can’t remember which ones.
Well there’s that Jackie Chan film for a start.
Game looks good. But, of course, it is a Simpsons game, so it will probably be shit.
Anyway, there was a really bad movie somewhat recently about a ragtag bunch of kids who cheat on the SAT. It had Scarlett Johansson in it, but other than that, the only high point was this stoned Asian kid who loved Street Fighter. He’s shown playing EX2 or 3 at one point.
Chun Li was in one of the Megaman games, theyre were so many I cant be sure which one right now. Then again, so was Ryu!
Not sure if it exactly counts but in Onimusha 4 you could get SF special costumes for all the main characters.

Remy shows up in an episode of El Tigre. If I remember correctly a bunch of kids gasp and he’s one of them.
Chun Li has a cameo in Breath of Fire 1.
Sakura and Chun are also in the Arena crowd during Breath of Fire 3.
Ryu was in an episode of Robot Chicken and Family Guy.
Hell yeah. Juice is one of my favorite movies of all time. Bishop and Steel were playing the game in Trip’s shop before the cops came.
Bishop: “One, if I lose, I’m gonna beat that ass. Two, if I lose, I’m gonna beat that ass. So pop two quarters in, pop tart, and let’s get this game on, I’ll be gettin’ that ass!”
And of course X with the Hadoken and the Shoryuken in Mega Man X 1 and 2. And Dragoon from X4 does some SF type attacks.

I think in Final Fight 3 guy was in the airport background. I remember EGM writing about this and then having some wack theory Guile is Remmy’s father and tied it into the airport background from Final Fight 3.
There was an episode of baywatch where Mitch’s son got into some trouble and I remember it had something to do with the game SF2. I think it was due to betting or something. Its been a long time.
The movie Perfect Score one the actors tells a story about how he loved SF2 and wanted to be Blanka. 
They were playing SF2 in Biggies music video of Juicy too.
