Yeah strange how they decided the WA2000 didn’t work with stopping power, I still wonder if that was intentional. You really need Scavenger with the M21, you are going to run out of ammo quickly.
Well I’m speaking in ideals but of course it’s like street fighter where hitboxes are stupid. Knowing my luck, I get a hit marker because I hit them on the side of the chest but because they were sprinting I hit the arm instead and get screwed out of a OHKO. BAH!
Semi auto makes no difference to me. Sniper rifles to me are to be one shot one kill. Not how fast you can unload a mag. Course sniper rfiles have been and always will be flawed in video games and it’ll always be the stigma that snipers are cowards.

Idk I really think BC2 got sniping right, you have to count for distance and lead your target. You are also left very vulnerable if found. I am a great sniper in BC2 and they are few and far between but if you get good at it it feels so right.

It isn’t that easy, taking down a heli is a complete pain in the ass.
I wish there was a ‘practice’ mode for the Chopper gunner and AC-130. Been trying to get a nuke, and realized…I SUCK with the AC-130 AND the chopper gunner simply because they aren’t kill streaks that I get enough to BE good with them.
It was nice however that going back to my ‘favorite’ weapon - RPD - that I can still put up rape numbers - I switched and within 45 seconds was on my way to a harrier/AC-130. All these experminetal classes I have been doing for point reasons have made me better even though my score doesn’t show it.
Can someone explain to me if I’m crazy for feeling that the M16 > Riot shield? Seems this guy was able to conistently chew thru my riot shield WITHOUT hitting limbs or butt…just a straight shot put me down. Still was the only one with a positive ratio that game on my team (15+ kills just using C4 twas fun as hell - hit one sniper in the head WITH C4 then blew him up…lulz)…but I couldn’t figur out how he was putting me down, UI was thinking FMJ, but it seemed unlikely…do the ‘burst’ fire nature of it crack thru a shield…or is it just FMJs?

I tackle this by moving around small / closed spaces with my secondary so I can always move around without worrying about someone jumping out at me, and having to pretend I am some quick scope / noscope champ. Besides Im guessing when you jump at them with a ghillie suit on they expect a missed noscope and they will think they have time to act, but instead will get a shotgun/ spray of rafficcas to their faces :L
Or is that just how I think when someone with a ghillie suite approaches me :S
Erm the only thing that gets through the riot shield is glitches :L The riot shield isnt perfect, and you cant control how your limbs/ hit box sticks out when you move. Always seems like he wants to stick his butt or foot out and get shot even when you are crouched and not moving.
The way I love using riot shield is either with a blast shield to protect from people thinking they are smart by sticking the shield, or a throwing knife for close up quick kills. Everyone always seems to use c4 though…
Something else which I think works realllly well is using a pistol with the shield. I never see people doing this either since they pack shotguns etc, but having the fast switch time when some one is lined up and a good trigger finger can catch them with there pantS down … just make sure they are not close enough and spamming knife (You can just hit emback) and are not firing at you (DUH)
Yeah I’m actually wanting to switch the secondary on my shield class to a pistol, however I have no pistol kills this prestige so there is no tact knife or akimbo anything…I was thinking of running Akimbo USPs with my rio shield class until I get RPG - just for domination btw. The swich time is a nice bonus, as trying to switch to the Striker/AA12 was NOT a good experience.

had to cut my post short, but yeah, I think pistols would be a better fit =wit hthe riot shield, as the switch time to anything else is so long that I feelas thoug hI have ot guess when they are about to reload to get a fair shot off, but because of footspeed, I can’t even catch-up to them with say a shotgun. I’m still miffed at the M16 kills with the riot shield though, I’m familiar with being shot in the ass or the top of the head because of how my body sits, but it seemed as though the shots were lined up wit hthe shield in kill cam (I watch 90% of my non-KS killcams) - it irked me because it complelety nullified my use of the shield and made me switch classes.
On the switch note. Your movment speed is predicated upon what weapon you start the class with…but what about switch times? If I start off with an ACR and a pistol, if I pick up a L86 - will I swap it at pistol time - or at L86 time?
Also, whats the verdict on pistols? I know the desert eagle sucks…Magnum’s akimbo are like OHK, I see a good number of akimbo USP users, and not a single M9 user…why not?
Also, any advice on AC130 use? I tried rotating my weapons as much as possible - I made that mistake before of only using a single shot.

Snipers aren’t cowards, nor are they campers. Despite what the populace says about turning a baretta into a FAL, snipers IRL find a spot or ‘nest’ to use Koop terminology, and take you out at a distance with a set shot. There is nothing cowardess about it, people are just dumb and want all snipers to do stupid 360 jumps into no look headshots because the aut-aim/hit detection is so stupid on sniper rifles. I’m like literally sick of people half aiming, seeing the hit detection on like my shoulder…and me dying to some random ass BS.

On my shield class, I ALWAYS used the M9 w/tactical knife. Swap time is stupid fast. I could never use the whole Scavenger/Danger close combo with a shield because my game is predicated on speed. The swap time is unbearable using a shotgun or RPG to me. M9 w/tactical worked wonders on my shield class when I flank and encounter a group of people who I stun and they are unaware I’m about to take out 2-3 of them in less than 4 seconds.
Plus being able to shoot someone down with a quick trigger finger helps. Also, don’t forget the throwing knife for the person who doesn’t want to fight you but thinks it’s easier for him to turn and run since he thinks chances are your secondary won’t down him from behind.
Are you asking for advise on using the AC130 or obtaining it?
One thing I’ve always found out in regards to COD is practice makes perfect. It took me a while to get the hang of the AC130 aiming, and the same for the Chopper Gunner.

Almost of of him and his CRU clan complain a lot when they play, and other times, they’re cool to run with.
