Speaking of annoying recoil I swapped my ACR for the AK-47 and now I can’t hit anything lol. Fucking visual recoil is a bitch
Funny I actually prefer the Ak47 over the ACR and I use the Acog scope on the EBR, it basically turns it into a modified assault rifle. I also run Akimbo Deagles with my EBR with steady aim. Both guns are a beast with steady aim. I had to jet last night, my eyes were starting to hurt and I was losing concentration. My scores went from like 20-5 to 11-17 so I knew it was time to stop.
As far as the Barret the recoil is always the same so you get used to it. Mind you I use it with Thermal which actually adds recoil to the gun. I also have an Intervention class with Ex Mags to make sure I keep my sniping up and don’t rely on Thermal. It is the reason I am really good at picking off Cold Blooded users even with a thermal scope. Cold Blooded will not save you from getting killed.

Putting a silencer doesn’t help. The problem with the EBR is it is the weakest sniper rifle in the game. Putting a Silencer on it limits both the range and kills the damage potential. You would essentially be trying to snipe with a Baretta. You can run cold blooded but the silencer kills it. Using the ACog scope turns it into an assault rifle good for mid range combat. You do not have to hold your breath and accuracy isn’t a big issue as long as you can keep time on target. Do not get me wrong it is by far a strange class that is hard to use, I just think it is fun. The secondary is just whatever you can use what you want. I use steady aim because Akimbo Deagles are a headshot machine with it and it helps balance out the EBR if you get up close and have to hip fire. The biggest thing to remember is to keep yourself at midrange where you have the advantage. Something like tac insert actually can work well with that class.
^ I’m aware of that sir, I figure since you sorta spray with it anyhow it’s no big deal. I mean I could run it un-silenced with Stopping Power but then I’d just be better off using the WA2000 I may as well just use that set-up with Sleight of Hand.

Need SP to get OHKOs. Course that can be said about all snipers minus M21 EBR. Once you get used to sniping from chest up you’ll never need SP anymore.
But should you struggle then you can fall back to SP to help you.

Yeah that is not true, while the 1HK is supposed to be substantial size with the Intervention and Barrett without stopping power it just doesn’t happen. You could shoot them in the 1HK zone and unless it is a headshot(which MW2 still doesn’t register very well) you will only get a 1HK about half the time. This is not just on MW2, almost all the COD games are full of statisical enomolies that are or aren’t supposed to happen but do. The reason people say you can use the WA 2000 with cold blooded is not because of the 1HK but because of the semi auto rate that it fires at.

I used the WA2000 with Cold-Blooded un-silenced cause Stopping Power doesn’t do jack for it unless you silence it.
