I need help with using it…I was so happy to finally get it haha and then I procceddd to get like 3 assist with it…but thats because I suck with it, I only earned it like one other time and I’ve only gotten it a couple other times with a CP…I always prferred the chopper gunner…its just that getting shot down so easy irks me.
Why the M9 verse the USP? Thats sort of where I’m at now…which pistol to upgrade for my domination riot shield class.

I dunno man, AC130 took me a few times to get the hang of it. Swapping between the cannons and the reload time of each cannon took some getting used to. I thought it was just a matter of toggling between the cannons as fast as you can lol. Personally, I think it’s a better Domination kill streak than TDM, kinda like the stealth bomber. I still like the Chopper Gunner more though. When it sits on top of a spawn point, it’s game over. There’s no shooting it down. The time span that you have an AC130 in modes where the spawn can be slightly scattered is too short to obtain a lot of kills depending on the map IMO, or maybe I still don’t have the killing precision others do when using it.
But I think I went for the M9 over the USP because of the iron sights. Plus I think the recoil was easier to deal with on the M9. Basically, I wanted the easiest route I could take to the Tactical knife because getting kills with a handgun is tough in MW2, unless you’re using Akimbo, and then it’s a little easier.
well the tact knife trick is to run the default run class and you’ll unlock it with the magnum.

I mostly switch between the main cannon and secondary. The last one is fairly accurate though you pretty much have to hit them directly to get a kill. I use it when I see people stationary that don’t have cold blooded while waiting for the others to reload.
If you fire any of the rounds make sure you keep doing it until its empty it doesn’t reload otherwise. Occasionally I’ll have one shot left then it says reload and I have to cycle through the guns waiting to use another.

thats not the proper way of using the AC-130…
All I know is having a low sensitivity helps. I used to be on 10 sensitivity and when I was blessed enough to get an AC-130, I’d get maybe 1-5 kills with it. Then I cranked my sensitivity down to “High” (which, I think, is just 4). I still get AC’s rarely, but I devastate with them. I think the reason that worked is that when you’re so far up in the sky aiming, being even a half of an inch off when you shoot (easy to happen on 10 sensitivity) could mean no success. Even if you regularly play on a high sensitivity, you can change it in the options right before you pull out the laptop.
I should make a Hardline class for the lulz. I’m thinking of:

-Scavenger
-Hardline
-Ninja
with Claymorz also I think I’ll turn my EBR class into my “Stealth” class too with Scavenger instead of Sleight Of Hand.

I bypass the last gun on the AC130 during the first and sometimes second weapon rotation, by the time I use up the secondary and pass the third to the primary I’m able to see where they spawned and can work from there. Not missing out on where they spawned is key and you can lose sight of it by using that third weapon. Your biggest threats are the ones that just spawned. After you get a good rhythm and established the spawns you can use the third for residual kills, non-threat stationary fags. Just my opinion. But anyway, I’m gonna go back to 3, 7, 11.
you are right, when often lose track of the enemies when I rotate to the 3rd gun.
It is still funny when everyone runs UAV, Counter UAV. The annoyance factor with those 2 when everyone runs it for the other team is very high. We have done that acouple of times and people get really salty afterward and literally do bitch that we are cheating for running UAV/CUAV.
I usually run 4,7,9 unless we’re playing Ground War
I run 3,5,7 or 5,7,9 usually.
Also in BO I run 3,8,11 unless there is some kind of challenge for Napalm Strikes or whatever…I MAY take the grip of my 74u Rapid Fire and see if I can get by without it so I can use the Galil with Extended Mags+Silencer for my Tactical Mask class.
In BO I run 3,5,9 usually or 3,4,5 if I am running a support role.
