if we do qualifiers for placement, how are we going to do it? round robin? double elimination bracket? we need to talk it over soon, and i think we should do that by friday evening/saturday morning.

OK, lets do this; if we ave time we can all play for spots and what not. But I’m starting to think that we wont even get arcade time to set up these kind of matches so it leaves us in a pretty bad position( cause I guarantee that the machines will be packed as shit + no one will care about us playing for spots while they want to play). If that is the case, and I believe it might be, I’ll give you my honest… I think the team should be Me/CrackFiend/Rival/Haunts/Long

I want to play for that spot :), not that I really want to be on the team or what not, cus this tournament thing is pretty new to me and I might do bad under pressure. But I just want to play and get some serious tourny practice.

oh and Aznmnky, i play ryu too… i played ryu since day one but i seem to do just the same (as far as winning ratio goes) when i play rog or gief or dictator. that kinda makes me sad

If you’re going by who you feel is better I just think it’s kinda moot at this point and I’d rather pick who’'s invested more time/money on practice, I mean we all starting practicing with the notion we would all be on the team and we played for a long time, I didn’t see anyone ask till now that the other spot should be for some other people, It’s not like it was hard to find us or ask to play for the team…etc. Why does it become all complicated right before the tourney? At this point in time i’m just tempted to say tough luck

anyone knows the hours for denjin this weekend? i’m driving down friday afterwork and plan to go get a few games in that night if it is still open when i get there.
anyways, because it’s so late into regionals, i still say 4 consensus team members are the people mentioned in my previous post due to experience, placings, and the consistency prior to all this. and since it’s only about 4 or so people playing for the 5th spot so far, we should round robin it
