5v5 is going to be for all games(3s,sf4,cvs2,mvc2,st) along with singles and the 3on3. hope to see a lot of you guys coming down!
I can understand reserving spots because we do want our most consistent players to rep down there in this particular tourney. There is always the 3v3 and the sinlges to make a name for yourself if you dont make the 5v5. With that being said for the 5v5 I think for each game there should be at least one or two spots that are played for to make things interesting. AFAIK SoCal is doing the same thing. I just dont know if this has been discussed up here.
I’ve said before I dont mind playing for my spot in SFIV but I think its pretty clear right now who is taking that game seriously and even out of all those players its not 100% certain some of them will be going to CR. I jsut dont know if there are even enough people who would be willing to fight it out over the SFIV 5v5 line up but who knows. Im tottaly open to it but that may be the one game that ends up with the predetermined roster w/o qualifiers…
I would love to see at least one wildcard on the 3s team… like the dude who did keeper jin to me last night at KS? LOL. forget your name sorry dude. 
since denjin is on jap sticks, why play at an arcade with american parts for a qualifier?
I come from the school of thought that the strongest players can play on any type of stick. 
awwwww can U only play on 360 stick’s. Has playin only one way made U completely unable to adapt.
arent you one of the dudes who always used to complain at tigercranefists house about the jap cabs? those games were purely casual and yet the bitching about the sticks was incredible.

For cvs2, john and ricky are the only autospots imo a team without them is shit and pointless, I dont really care who is on the team but realistically they are prolly just going to choose who they think is best or who goes up to them and asks. Basically the teams are supposed to be the best so unless you have proven yourself or call someone out who is on the team and beat them your hopes are pretty small/

ya Dr.b would be a good person too. I dont know, I’d throw a qualifier for the team tourney but I dont even know if people would show. SO I think the best option is to hold qualifiers at socal before the tourney, this allows us to see who actually showed up and also give anyone who wants to play a chance.
playing for all spots is waste of time.
also dont bother challenging those with reserve spots - waste of time.
