Re: sf5 training mode. That thing is completely fucking awful. It quite literally teaches you nothing of how to play fighting games. All it tells you is what each button does when you press it.
He has to be saying that simply because he is being paid to say it. No way he could come out and admit survival and training are straight up awful. What kind of casual player will subkect themselves to playing through hell mode before they try playing online? Not even im gonna torture myself like that.
They could have just not put the training mode in the game full stop and it would honestly be no worse off for it.

Cr.mp is just as good, if not better than it was in Alpha 3, which says a lot.
St.mk, cr.hp, f.lk and st.hk are all really good just have to be used from the right ranges. EX Sonic Scythe is basically impregnable as an early anti-air.
Obviously none if his stuff is invincible, but he has a button for every situation.
nash vortex: combo into MP > LK > HP target combo (out of cr.MP or something), then hold up forward, if they quickrise j.MK crosses up and j.HK is in the front. i guess it beats reversals too.
to beat this setup i would guess you back roll or just don’t quick stand.
also i hope you guys are getting used to your crush counter OSes, seems like most characters will have a meaningful one of some sort
by CC OS i mean you cancel your crush counter normal super late, after the cancel window on hit or block has passed. it’s really easy to do.
ken has a killer one where he OSes v-skill or v-trigger for a fat combo on CC only, laura has one where you cancel stand HP into late MP or HP fireball and it combos on CC only, i imagine if you have a special-cancelable or v-skill/v-trigger cancelable normal that also crush counters, you can do this with that character
difficulty is 1/10 and i imagine in less than 1 month, every single crush counter normal will have an OS behind it for the characters where it’s possible
