eh, i find i don’t always get to activate troll mode if i wait for it to come up naturally. sometimes you get pressured and v-trigger activation is punished if you do it close range.

also if i can be in troll mode for my last 60% of my health bar as opposed to 35-40% that seems worth it

i’m intentionally trying to use v-skill as a ranged tool for this reason now, i find it also makes people forward jump a lot (because it’s “such an easy punish” via jumping) so i get some free damage off anti-airs. even if you just use it, like, once (and it’s blocked or whiffs, whatever), and you walk into range and like fake a light normal, tons of people will just jump at you

yeah i’m gonna try doing that to get vskill faster. esp since c.mk xx vtrigger is the 100% most easiest thing of all time. i think i landed it almost every match i played with josh last night(after zakk raped me and notice i didn’t use it once)

Probably? the only characters i play have shitty v skills so i’m not sure. I think for a character like necalli getting 3 bars asap is a pretty high priority no?

I assume Lauras only builds if you do her overhead attack which is god awful. Nash is useless outside of fireballs, chun’s is pretty much only gonna hit after a v trigger confirm anyway lol

I played in the launch tournament for sfv in Singspore yesterday. One bye, one win, one loss. The guy I lost to got 4th out of 102 so I don’t feel so bad. I played 3 characters and forgot to use Vskill or Vtrigger even once. The end.
