gotta hit the first j.D on the way up from your jump, so you are pretty much instantly canceling 2HS into jump and pressing the j.D on the first possible frame you can. then double tap the next j.D which you’ll hit on the way back down
work on getting the second j.D out first, then adjust your timing on the 2HS to get the height right.
imo it is better to practice the D-loop off a normal starter because it is tighter than the Wild Throw starter. there is more gravity on the WT version so it is easier to hit the Fafnir… if you can hit D-loop 100% off 2K 6P 5HS, you can hit it 100% off WT. if you hit 100% off WT, you won’t necessarily hit 100% off normal starters
assuming the combo you are trying is
(2K 6P 5HS or WT run under 2HS) j.D j.D / Fafnir, dash up 6P delay 2HS j.D xx Kukadero / 6P delay Bandit Revolver
then go try all the crazier conversions into it. j.K double jump j.D j.D dash j.D j.D off midscreen gunflames, dash j.D j.D into dash Fafnir after throwing someone into the corner from almost the middle of the stage… all that stuff
has gotta be one of my favorite combos i’ve done in any fighting game ever. really glad they brought it back for Xrd
