Those upscaled PS2 graphics are lookin mighty dank

Chun’s V-Trigger lasts waaaaay too long. I don’t know what Gief can do against it. it’s just free pressure for a million years.

Rashid is fun, but damage output not too great.

All his standing normals are safe on block.

People seem to think the dinosaur guy is Tizoc from Mark of the Wolves. The spd animation fits.

1000 frame duration isn’t enough, make it 2000.

I want to ALWAYS be able to do her command overhead, into jab, into low forward xx legs/sbk.

Sure hope day 1 buyers get 100k fight money or something for supporting Capcom when most people had the smarts to not trust them ;).

I’ll forgive them if they give everybody all color palettes.

Literally Fuck Combofiend for allowing that shit to pass through.

Journalist wife was 100% right. “If you let them take any silly pictures of you, that’s the one that’s going to show up on the front page.”

Also, come at my pro status, Dink. You aren’t ready to live in Jamie and I’s wheelhouse.

Does the physical guide show hitboxes? i need to see what the hell chun’s hitbox is on her v-skill. It’s so awkward to land as an anti air or a crush counter follow up.

st.hk anti air crush counter xx v trigger, v-skill follow up is super awkward to hit

Im sure someone will crack the PC version with a hitbox viewer sooner or later.

challenge accepted!
not against Jamie though. he gives me street fighter nightmares.

they’re already working hard on the SFV frame trapped tool, it’s going to be even more feature-rich than the SFIV one apparently, so yay

v-reversal? shrug

Who would have thought MK would ever have waaaay better online than SF. I guess it took a year though…maybe SFV will be playable next year…

Beta was relatively okay in the last phase. They’ll figure it out soon-ish i’m sure heh

Yeah, but it was never better than “okay”, which sucks for what should have been a huge step forward (especially when we had rollback netcodes like KI’s and now MKX’s, and ridiculously good netcodes like SCV’s that utilized input buffers as well years ago).

Reminds me of SCV a lot. The core fighting game is tight and solid and fun as fuck… but there’s nothing else there, and a whole bunch of weird interface decisions. And SCV suffered huge for it, due to the bad press. Except I could actually play SCV online and it felt like offline. SFV even in beta felt like a step down from even SFIV netcode wise.

I’m just really bummed… SFV has a really neat engine and I’m just impatient and wanna play soooo bad.

And if the game sells like garbage because of all this bad press we’ll probably never see all the awesome updates to make the game better. But I guess this method worked out well for Splatoon, so who knows.

500 hours MS paint

online was fun and relatively lagless last night.

EDIT: Never mind, just read on r/streetfighter that they’re down again.

A coworker (not into fighting games) just asked me if I thought the Lupe fiasco vs Daigo fight was staged.

I’ve had two friends ask if i’ve ever heard about ‘the best chun li’ player in the world that plays only with his mouth.

Thanks reddit.

tbh tho are there really any other chun Lis

I mean he was def the hardest one I ever fought
