Finally some Leatherface footage. The brutality at about 9:40 is crazy.

He seems like he’ll be really strong. Has like 3rd strike Chun normals… And unreactable mix-ups.

Excellent, my friends. The wheels are turning.

NEXT WEDNESDAY HEXTERS 6 PM STREET FIGHTER 5

I’ll be at the fight pub sunday to recruit some more people.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s far for some. The city is huge.

RE: Wings, I can try but we already have wings on Monday and on Thursday.

Goin to bed now, hit me up for any more suggestions tomorrow.

Hey, I’m just glad this is happening.

It’s not super convenient for me either, but still closer than the university.

Thanks for setting this up Jamie!

so does this mean there’s no more Tubby Wed?

Tubby was cancelled a long time ago when nobody was showing up

On that note seeing as I’m back in town I’ll be resuming my weekly hosting on the Monday after release at my place. If anyone needs directions just pm me.

I’d go back to tubby dog in a heart beat if sf nights came back. So many awesome memories. Hell, I even got married there once.
Good job starting something up Jamie.

Powerpuff Girls is coming back I’m so exciiiited

I won’t be able to make this first Hexter’s Wednesday on account of being in Mexico but I’ll try and swing as many as I can after that

I’d probably rather play Xrd than SF tho. Game is too gdlk but holy fuck is it hard. ~80 hour playtime and it feels like I’m only just achieved scrub status

Wednesday has become jam night for the new super rad band, but I’ll hit it up when I can.

We will start formalized ranbat tournaments at Gamer Sundays at Dickens shortly - going to keep a regular tournament start time of 4pm and track points/etc like I did for our ranbats last year.

I think I’m gonna give Hexter’s a chance instead of Gamer Sundays for a while.

Dickens has gotten pretty stale and I can’t really justify going to 2 separate places to play video games for hours on end every week.

I am so down for Dickens especially if it starts at 4pm. This old man has to be home early for papa duties.

HEYO! huehue

adam where’s our early launch :frowning:

Also - reminder to peeps that this sunday is formally the last SFIV tournament ever in calgary. Who is gonna be the best forever? We know it isn’t going to be Zak, but hey, you never know.

Also it seems that Jellybean’s freedom got rekt by V-day, Adam are you going to make it? Our team is in shambles…

I’m still TBD :S

if its there ill play it

Slayer is silly, why does hitting a button 4 times into a special do like 40% of your health lol
Seems like Sin is like that too with the addition of managing a food bar.

This game is whack, fun… but whack

we’ve been doing a games night on thursdays at tubby casually centered around multiplayer nintendo games for the last couple of months. since we still have the monitors and im there setting up gaming stuff anyway i figured i would dedicate one night a month to a sfv tournament. ill have my gear next thursday which so far only consists of those old monitors and a single ps4 and stick. not trying to step on any toes here tho, jamie. im very happy to keep the tubby events small and cozy. we also have a sloppy twitch stream that’s a work in progress at twitch.tv/daveteatro soon to be twitch.tv/tubbydog.

looks like evo tickets are going on sale next thursday evening

they say it’s $30 for friday+saturday admission, and then either $40 for general seating in the upper bowls on sunday or $85 if you want a reserved seat on the floor

so $70 US total for evo fees

i was expecting it to be $100+ so that’s not too bad

edit: $30 for the fri/sat pass is the first week only, then it goes to $40 for early bird and then $60 closer to the event
