That was fuckin sick man. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately with the new pack and online coming out now. Haven’t really touched anything seriously(except league and monster hunter) since I got to Japan and now that I’m back I’ve been to sick/tired to find motivation to touch anything lol.
Definitely worse - I have yet to hear a valid reason why they should be allowed this year. Maybe some more people need their matches interrupted, I just don’t get it.
Well if you get costumes too with the season pass ill likely just do that. Also since they gave prices for individual costumes it seems you can indeed buy them seperately which makes me happy. There were so many bad costumes in 4 that i am glad i never have to see again lol
I may get the first dlc then save my fight money for the next one.
I did get the game for only $45 (yay for pre-ordering on amazon at $59.99 and getting the E3 30% off deal) so at regular price of $70 I’m pretty much getting the dlc for $5 anyways.
I find it funny though how in SFxT many people were in an uproar about that dlc. But this dlc, if I remember correctly, is more expensive, and people seem to be taking it better. Maybe it’s because there is a way to get it for free?

The only thing people hated about SFxT DLC was the fact that gems existed, and you could actually pay 2 win auto block and tech gems
4 dollar characters and skins, who cares if you dont want to buy them then grind an insane amout of the game. 4 dollars a month is like a coffee and a half lol
Skins are a money grab regardless and aimed at people who want to make their dude look different. Nothing more
i think people hated sfxt DLC because the characters were on the disc, implying they were 100% done and theoretically available, but capcom just held it back for no reason for several months
whenever a company holds something back from you for no reason, they’re gonna get crucified i think
the sfv DLC characters are (i presume) not done right now, so the DLC model makes more sense
Well, if they ARE done already, that will be datamined out of the game approximately 2 mins after it preloads from Steam. Then… shit storm.
Pretty sure the DLC characters are virtually finished. People got to play Balrog months ago and he’s not even the first character being released.
But people take it better when they’re not on the disk… Works for NRS

Seems sf5 is using the lab zero driver for stick compatability. Dunno why you would need to have a ds4 synced to it still though.
MKX used their driver too.
Didn’t Ultra as well? Both required the sync.
