i liked glencross but he seemed a bit out of place here. didn’t have much chemistry with our new guys.
we got a great deal for glencross though.

What do they expect to get out of this? Do they think non-DOA players are going to respect them more because of this?
If anything it just makes them more prone to mocking and derision because this shows that they’re embarrassed about the game that they play.

Over the moon with our return for Glenn’s. He was a great soldier for 7 years, but it wasn’t working anymore and I’m glad he’s gone. Wish him the very best as he was a great dude for the community
VGL was amazing this year. Other than Mass Effect, all segments were games I’m in love with.

i saw VGL twice now, once way back in the day, and once again last August on my trip to the US
from the sounds of it, it’s the same show you guys saw last night, and really it was very, very similar to the show i saw 7-8 years ago too
unfortunately the orchestra wasn’t super impressive on my last viewing, lots of sections were off-synch and the guest conductor seemed to have a hard time reigning them in, he was visibly frustrated on stage lol
did the guy doing the guitar hero section play a foo fighters song with lots of 3-note chords in the chorus?
also, aganos is out and he’s a giant monster wearing a house for a hat and he punches you through walls and then you’re sad
people are finding juice with him, he’s got setups and if you can react to buttons you always get big damage, most importantly he’s really fun (like all KI characters), and his stage + music are really nice
Remastered Clayfighter on PC next year. Adding airdashing, and double jumps and fatalities etc. I’d play it!

i played a lot of clayfighter 63 1/3 on n64, i even own it
it’s not very good, the game will need a serious rework to be even remotely playable, wonder how much they’ll do
looks like our chances of making the playoffs have gotten much slimmer. every other team chasing the playoffs has gotten significantly better through trades but we got significantly worse.
Giordano is out for the rest of the season. we traded Glencross. we traded Baertschi. Joni Ortio is out for 2-3 months with an injury.

glencross checked out like a guy who gave his 2 weeks notice. he hasn’t been impactful for like 2+ years
baertschi had a stretch of like 3 games where he was good in his entire career. he’s been passed by virtually every other prospect in the organization. he requested a trade and is waiver eligible next season, where we would lose him for nothing. I was very high on him until he basically didn’t progress at all in 2-3 years
gio being out really sucks. like really bad. really really bad. ortio out isn’t bad because we didn’t deal ramo - this means we have 2 more or less decent nhl quality goaltenders to roll with
i agree with you regarding glencross and baertchi but the flames definitely got worse in the last week on paper while minnesota and winnipeg stacked up hardcore.
i disagree with you on the goalie issue. Ramo and Hiller are both incredibly average and don’t win games for us. When Ortio played for us in his 5 game win streak, he was almost the #1 star in every one of those wins. to be a stanley cup contender, you need a goalie who can steal games for you and Ramo and Hiller will very rarely do that for you.
luckily, the flames are a team that can make up for average goaltending with our insane comebacks.
