capcom is really messing up the netcode

this is like their 5th version of the game, at some point you’d think they’d say “hey if we’re gonna keep milking this game we might as well put some work into the netcode”

oh well, at least it happened on the worst version of the game and not the best, and there’s hope moving forward with games like skullgirls and KI proving that good netcode is not just possible but should be the industry standard

after trying to play AE 2012 online yesterday and facepalming through the dumb shit that works, i think its safe to say that i will be getting my SF online fix from playing 3rd strike from now on (got it for 3.50 in the sale). the connections are pretty decent in that game so far. even though im playing as hugo its more fun than SF4 connections.

ya ex soul throw isn’t very good. it has to connect to your throw box (not your hit box) so a majority of air normals / specials beat it clean.

I dunno man, I’m just not seeing what’s different from the last one other than shiny new water effects.

Other than he had none of those moves in the last one? Literally none.

I’m talking about the general flow of the gameplay and the way it looks. I wouldn’t know about his specific moves since I didn’t play it.

Yeah, I’m sure it’s super similar other than all the new mechanics (run, stamina, throwing in the middle of combos etc, and interactables and all the characters having wonky Injustice/BB style unique mechanics)

Which is all the MK community wants… That and some semblance of balance this time :).

And you’re free to disagree but the animations are waaay nicer/smoother this time around. Just look at the Raiden reveal next to Raiden gameplay from MK9. They’re worlds apart IMO.
