Cloning is pretty easy in theory, but there is a possibility you can lose the Poke you wanna clone, so I would practice the timing first.

i did a bit of cloning after instacheck went down and pokebank still hadnt come out. i successfully cloned some of my extra shinies and traded them around for oyher 6IV shinies, then cloned those and traded for more: but its not that easy and very very not fun. u have to turn uf ds off in exactly 4.5 seconds and if u miss it by a fraction of a second it wont work. sometimes it takes many many many tries. at that point i was what am i even doing this is not fun anymore. breeding is fine and so was instacheck and shiny hatching, but cloning was just too much for me. my sister left town and i dont have nother ds to clone with anymore, and im glad i dont. over tedious waste of time and not fun.

yea ill probs clone a few dittos and then thatll be that really. i dont have a second 3ds at home anyway and ive got all the old games anyway so ill have all the pokebank shit once it gets released over here so i wont reallly need to clone stuff anyway. lol one of the few things i brought with me from the UK… my entire pokemon collection ha ha.
