First you start comboing your enemy, and then you input the counter breaker when you think that the opponent is going to try and break your combo. If you guess wrong you will end your combo prematurely and leave yourself wide open for a full second.
what is the input for a counter breaker, just punch+kick of the strength you think he is going to try to combo break with?
Nope, just MP+MK.
You only specify strength with normal combo breakers.
Theres kinda a good window there where if they try punish you for counter breaking, they will still get counter broken, it’s pretty funny when that happens. Dont know if the timing is diff for every character, but with Orchid I’ve had some guys try hit me pretty late and still get counter broken.
Were they trying to punish you with throw? I’ve never seen it happen unless I’m mashing two buttons at once because I’m raging ;).
lol, yah, I like to start with lights manual or Auto doubles, let them break me a couple times, then go for the counter breakers, if they are wise to me, they won’t try break (cause I’m getting shit damage with lights anyways, but people like to push buttons), but they hit it late and still “COUNTER BREAKER!!!” lol
