Why would there be another crash any time soon when games make more than Hollywood/music and probably some other stuff combined?
Because the industry’s means of making AAA games is wholly unsustainable and inefficient, and better hardware requires more money to make the same game, despite there being a trend for consumers to pay less for games? Nobody can take risks when the cost of failure is bankruptcy?

I was gonna post something similar but then I read the article; it was guest-written by an industry guy and it’s, uh, actually all really accurate as long as you can get past the snarky cracked style of writing that they probably added themselves.
