If you watch old matches with Daigo vs Jamie, Daigo basically holds up-forward on the stick. Jamie was probably a bit star-struck and wasn’t on his best game but it was Daigo’s gameplan anyway
Not that it’s “bad”, it just a hell of a grind. I didn’t even realize I was doing the “real” ending and there was another way to end it in chapter 5 lol. but yah chapter 5-9 feels like bad game design story wise and could have been done differently IMO.

the last 4 chapters of BD is literally doing the exact same thing over each time.
The last bosses were a nice change but they could have really ended that game in 6 chapters tops.

Shadaloo in its entirety seems to kick my ass Ricky. If I look at high level footage of ryu vs Vega I notice that ryu well stay like full to 3/4 screen away and zone for that most part until they get the kd. Plus with st.hk and neutral hk jumping isn’t that easy on Vega. I think I just need to learn the spacing a bit better

Yah I don’t mind grinding at all, before I set out on Chapter 5 I leveled all my jobs and hit 99 for all my characters, took almost 10 game hours, then I set out figuring the hardest best shit was to come,
then you are in a fuckin loop for like 5 times in a row, it’s dumb as fuck. The last bosses are good, but by then you wanna fuckin burn the people that made the game with hot oil.
