Just like cvs2, the snk characters were not good.
In sf x tekken, the tekken characters look like shit.

for my sfxt team, my ideal pre-requisites are characters with a command grab, divekick, long ranged normals, mashable reversal, teleport. i will have no character loyalty right from the get-go.

I actually feel like it’s the opposite Sang. The Tekken characters feel really good! I suspect you see lots of capcom characters because these guys have played these characters for years and they are used to the way they handle. The tekken characters are all new to most of them, and handle differently than they do in their own series.
I probably will not be able to attend Tubbies until April.
Rolento/Vega or Rolento/Law will be the team for me, unless Gen makes the roster.

idk, when we get a chance to tear it open anything’s possible really. The one thing I am looking for is new characters to dick around with, and that’s 50% of the roster.
I forsee Hwoarang being cheap as shit because he just naturally is, Mishimas will probably be strong enough, gonna be interesting to see how grapplers work considering how outrageous the chains are as well, we only got a peek of Xiaoyu too and she’s a BIG tekken character. I hope Yoshi doesn’t suck.

Probably takes sometime to get used to Tekken characters on an SF-like engine. I’m pretty sure if there was a beta tourney for Namco’s version of the game, it would’ve been won by tekken chars.
For CvS2, top tier ended up being dominated by Capcom characters but in CvS1 the good characters were split pretty evenly between both companies (though Nakoruru is pretty much dominated everyone without much effort). SvC also had pretty good balancing between the two companies as well.

i think the tekken cast will thrive given this.
although the streets cast can utilize this tool; i think there will be better combos with from tekken guyz.
there are going to be some ridiculously long and complex combos given the fact.
i’m saying this now - i bet harada san is gonna make a movie with the Tekken x SF version. god bless namco if they do.
