There’s nothing wrong with turtling with Honda so long as you can properly react to your opponent’s actions. Honda can play aggressive and defensive but you just have to switch based on the situation and match up.

Don’t stress about changing up your playstyle too much there. Your Honda is already doing very well for how little we’ve seen of you and tbh you were one of the last guys I wanted to face in my pool when I was watching everybody play. In my dabbling with Honda I’ve learned enough to know that if I can play my defensive options, I should. No point in going for unnecessary risk just for a shallow mixup. Both you and your brother(?) just need to keep playing with eachother and us, and you’ll not have to worry about what people say about your playstyle, since you’ll know HOW he’s ‘supposed’ to be played and how you actually follow-through with that.
If some twat drops you from his FL because you beat his ass, consider that a triumphant victory because you just actually made him mad, over the internet.

Anyone have any leads on a modded PS2? I’m trying to find a convenient way to play Darkstalkers games on my television, seems to me burning or buying the japanese ps2 collection is my best bet. I’d prefer not to have to hook my PC up to the television. I bought a namco PS1 stick so I’m part of the way there.

Good games last night guys, (Troy, Rory, and Mark F) It was fun to play offline for once in an eternity. I would have to agree with Air on the Dhalsim Ryu match being 7-3, I hope Sim got hit fucking hard with the nerf bat in AE!!! No offense Troy!!!
I have won tournaments in the past, but personally, i find much more happiness and fun in setting up interesting situations or executing impossible combos, parries etc…
