Great start to the 2011 forum. I haven’t been to Tubbies in a month due to school and xmas, but can’t wait to see people again this Wednesday.
Also, I came across one of the 2 for 1 TE xbox sticks, which I got via a fellow forum user, as apparently they’re easier to dual-mod than the ps3 one I already own: for someone semi-competent at sodering little toy soldiers (worked at Sentry Box for 4 years 
), would a simple Youtube video be good enough of a tutorial to start modding on my own?

Has anyone ever ‘lost’ a friend on xbl or psn? Haha a decent guy(14000bp) player added me a while back and we ran casuals here and there. Today was no different, after losing first game to me he sends me a message saying he would rather fight Dan in training mode if I’m just going to keep using ‘turtle’ Honda. Thinking it was a joke I rushed his ass down and beat him even faster. He left the room removed me as a friend and blocked me? 
I don’t know about you guys but losing in this game is far more rewarding (in casuals) than winning. The reality check screaming “you suck!” is always refreshing and puts me in my place every so often. Learning is what levels us up and losing plays a big roll in that procces.
So I was talking to AfroCole and he’s hosting training sessions this week out in Seattle and he wants Canada to come out. I told him it was very short notice but I’m sure guys would be down next time they did something like this. So now he’s putting together an online 5v5 league. Anyone interested?
I’ve almost done that before because I played with one guy yesterday and he did a bunch of random shit like empty jump ultra or crossup straight into DP without a hit confirm. He was probably messing around or playing upside down though, I hope, because he isn’t usually that bad. i mad though
Losing is the process of leveling up. Look at the saiyans like vegeta and goku, they lose battles all the time and now they’re over 9000.

Hence, mike d’s fight money pisses me off. But, I guess it tests me mentally, keepin my composure and shit.

You know what you are absolutely right sir, I remember playing you and you would always waste me haha. I can say I have improved since then(I hope) and I would love to run some sets with you at you at tubs. I take offense to peeps accusing my play style though=( so I’ll only lame it out if I’m sitting on the life lead or fighting bison haha

Eh, don’t let people tell you to change your style if you find it effective and it helps you win. People may not like fighting a turtle Honda, but it’s not their choice. 
That said, stuff like jab xx hands is important for Honda (even a turtling one), so definitely practice that if you don’t use it much. I only played you a few times at Tubby’s last week (after everyone left at the end) so I’m not too familiar with your style.
Ya Peachz, GGs tthe other day, you do turtle a bit, jab hands is gdlk and good for your game. Honestly I was never concerned if I had a life lead because I knew I could just pressure you, it would take you a long time to try and get it on me. Honda can really put the pressure on in the corner too. Roll the dice a couple times and you win but you have to be willing to get your hands dirty sometimes. remember it’s vega too, once you get in you can go nuts.
