I guess you can j.LK tick into something. :\ Does j.LK combo into stand jab? At least you can get some stand jabs into st.MP? In AE you can combo back into knockdown.

Yeah, I think everything whiffs. If she presses a direction, she may get unblockableād, but if she abandons the stick and doesnāt try to defend herself, sheāll be fine. (makes sense! lol)
Even other non-crossup setups, like whiff LP into safejump RH will whiff too. Like, everything good will whiff.
J.LK whiffs as well. I think I would have to neutral jump (and not be in throw range), or move back first before I jump in order to hit her. I think it may also mean no more crossups after slide+press, which is where I got a lot of my damage against her. I think she can also use it to avoid meaty dives too? Probably depends on her knockdown orientation.
J.LK has extraordinarily short hitstunā¦ I find it really hard to combo afterward. Itās a great jump-in though! Beats tons of stuff.

Maybe using oil after press knockdown is best against her, then? In AE it will be an even better idea.

yeah man. it was actually brand new never opened. still had the seal on the box. some woman got it from Telus for signing up. so that means no receipt. i called xbox and this is a known issue (no power running through the power brick) with the newer xbox S.

Also, anybody like word games? I just got introduced to a fun game called Bananagrams. Gonna pick it up when stores reopen tomorrow. Itās a fast-paced Scrabble-like game where you build your own grid and can change it at any time. Iām not a big Scrabble fan but I had lots of fun playing this.

Lol, itās cool dude. Iāve played CvS2 enough that I understand perfectly. My only problem is that not many people in Orlando play CvS2 anymore, and there are maybe one or two solid Vegas and not many A-Bisons at all. Itās really just a matter of the fact that I have no experience against top-tiers that arenāt Sagat, with maybe a little bit against A-Sakura and A-Blanka. But for my varied repertoire I like to think I do a good job. Iām looking forward to more CvS2 on Wednesday. 
Btw guys, thanks for all the compliments on my Dan play. I did it primarily to fit with our ārandomā team dynamic, but I do actually put a lot of time into playing Dan when I get bored with SSF4. Dan has some legitimately tricky stuff in his arsenal and itās a pain if you donāt know how to deal with it. I generally opt for LK Dan Kicks in that pressure string because itās +0 on block as opposed to -2 for HK Dan Kicks. It gives you the option to actually throw in your pressure string as opposed to simply throw teching on a guess. Thereās alsoā¦ a particularly nasty trick you can do in the corner, which I unfortunately never got to do in a match on Wednesday.
If LK Dan Kick hits late against a cornered opponent, you can juggle with U2 for zero meter and solid damage. This works on just about every character crouching and a good amount of characters standing, and itās very easy to confirm if it hits at the proper time to allow you to ultra. In simpler terms: Yes, even Dan can wreck people with his corner pressure.
Next Wednesday Iāll either play Dan again or attempt to play a slightly more legitimate character. GGs to everyone though, and I promise you I was intending to troll no one. Dan is legit.
You switched your main from Viper, right? I believe you were telling me this last time you posted here. I canāt remember who you switched to. Also, Iāll probably be in Calgary next weekend due to my job so anyone planning on games during that time?
Yes I did. I stopped playing Viper because she doesnāt really fit my preferred play style. I love the fast-paced high-execution aspect of Viper, but her ability to slow down and poke for a bit isnāt very good and her defensive options are mediocre at best IMO. I love being the rushdown player but sheās too high-risk for my tastes. I also hate the Balrog and Bison match-ups. :\
The two characters that are closest to my mains now are Guy and Cody, but they have severe issues of their own. SF4 in general just doesnāt cater well to rushdown players unless your name is Akuma or Rufus, and while I have played Rufus on multiple occasions I donāt find it to be enjoyable. Iām waiting for AE until I commit to a character again, until then Iām just going to mess around with whoever I feel like playing at the time. Iād love to be able to get better at the game, but I really donāt like SSF4. Iād rather be playing CvS2. I play it while Iām here because itās a new social experience.
