Here’s a couple updates!

We’re working on creating a schedule of tournaments for Games, but as always I need your input for which games you’d like to participate in! I’ve already made SSF4 at the top of the priority list.

I’ve spoken to the owner of the MVC2 Cab, and the issues with the sticks are being resolved.

Also, we recently recieved two brand new SF4 Cabs. As you know there is no cabinet release for SSF4 yet, so SF4 will be vanilla for now. Come check them out, new sticks and buttons, with 2 20" screens. Its pretty nice!

Lastly, A couple of people have expressed interest in holding weekly casuals on campus. This can be done as long as we get a solid # of committed individuals. We will be able to rent out rooms and bring systems and make it happen!

Just tried out the SF4 cabinets, they work great!

Oh and I think I got the first double digit win streak as…Vega!?

Damn! lol. Oh well, maybe I can get more low tier streaks with Guile/Vega some time.

Oh, and forgot to mention it but I for one would love to have a SSF4 casuals session at Cal Poly, beats the hell out of trekking down to OC all the time. Have a PS3 TE stick I could bring along if this thing gets off the ground.

EDIT: Oh, and maybe I can guilt trip Redrapper into tagging along with me since I visit his ass all the time :devil:

There was a young lady beasting with Viper! I was extremely impressed. And she took some of the advice I gave her like a champ. And just like I thought, ever since we got SF4 it hasn’t been vacant. There is always a crowd.

And sunday night ranbats would be cool. I have a 360 I could bring. But we can’t have them in the Games Room on Sundays because its not open on the weekends, and closes at 5 on fridays.

There were some nice games today. I played horrendous, so I took it as my cue that I should focus a little more on finals and take a break from the game.

I’ve never asked her name. I will next time. I’m sure if she was in that Ladies of SF4 tourney she would’ve won because she has a very nice game.

Man my execution was asssss yestreday when I was playing around with Honda/Vega/Balrog. I think might try to stop playing Balrog now, I seem to do really gimmicky shit with him lately for some reason.

Honda was fun though, even though I can’t do crouching jab>fierce hands anymore. Maybe i’ll stop by today after my horrible Finance class gets out…

Anyone else find it funny how fast this thread became about Sherry? lol. Her Viper is very solid though, no denying that.

I might come thru one of these days when you guys have a session. I’m smooth in vanilla. haha. and Yes, Sherry is decent.

if Chocoblanka comes and plays in the regular SSFIV tourney, she is going to wreck on a ton of people and yes the Female SSFIV tourney is a lock for her

I just watched some of her match vids and it made me hate blanka evenmore. I know I’d be free for her lol.
