hello poly people. my name is chris. i show up every once and again to own evryone on cvs2 and xvs. i’m that annoying yet lovable captain america/storm/gambit team that you see like once a month. i can understand not having xvs in your tournament, but are there enough people to add cvs2? if so i’m in.
p.s. also, i live in el monte, so if anyone knows where i can find comp for xvs, please let me know. i usually have to go james games, so i don’t mind travelling to play.

lol, totally agree. If I actually had finals this week I doubt i’d be going tonight. But some stars were able to align somehow and this is pretty much how my finals went down:
Management: Professor didn’t feel like giving a final so we gave a presentation last week instead
Finance: Common final on Saturday morning of last week
Business Stats: Optional final. Optional as in “No way in hell i’m coming to this final because I fucking suck at Business Stats”

pantyguardbreak, ffa is family fun arcade, which is in granada hills. kinda far from poly. mmds is megaman ds, this other guy that plays xmsf. those are the only 2 people off the top of my head that i know play xmen, maybe fanatiq. Post in the ffa mvc2 thread. but the games kinda dead, so it might be hard to get them to play, unless it’s for $$$.
GGs to everyone last night. I think I was the only Chun Li there. I also played Tekken 6. Overall Midnight Madness was pretty fun. Good stuff guys. It was kinda hard for me to play at first because the stick and buttons are spaced out further than usual. Just need to practice with that. LOL. Nice meeting you, Redrapper.

Yeah, the spacing is definitely weird but i’m so happy to actually have a game I play there i’m not trippin. I swear my execution goes to crap on it though, i’m so used to my stick at home. I saw like 15+ people at one time watching some games, and when I stopped by it look like people were having fun.
Yea, it was definately fun. There were a few instances where I kept missing my throw input or focus attack input because my fingers would miss the buttons T_T It’s all good though. Fun and games.
When do you go here? I barely visit but when I do, there are just scrubs playing and I lose interest.
It’s random. I haven’t been there too much this quarter, especially since the stick was messed up like the whole quarter, and the buttons started to crap out. But when I did go, it was when my class got out early on tuesday/thursday at 230 or 5. Only one of my homies that plays is good, but he’s hardly around. It’s like you said, just scrubs playing. Only if Guile and Jin were better in mvc2. :clown:
