but seriously, the modding is strong with this one. THIS GUY does a TRI mod for his very first stick mod on sat. Then the next day does another tri mod on his other TE.

Upas, Strogg, and I could form a mod team and go do modding money matches against other modders.

I don’t know what FTFY means… but let’s do it. I just finished quad(or technically 5) modding my player2 TE last night, and am gonna grab another psone controller to finish the other. Modding is FUNN :woot: I bought a dremel (sp?) as well, so i can grind shit, though I’m not sure I’m using the proper ends for things.

Can you put an MC Cthulhu in my TE? It’s already 360/PS3 modded (360 originally) but yeah. Someone said Gummowned could do them at the last C3 I think but I forgot to ask him.

If all you want to do is add ps2 support, you’re better off (ie, its way cheaper) just getting a ps1 controller and putting that board put in your TE (strogg knows how to do this). PS1 controllers are practically free while for the MC cthulhu you’re spending $35. Now if you wanted gc/wii support added too, then MC it is.

That reminds me, I just got some Sanwa buttons and I have yet to install them. It will be my first time doing any modding, so I’m a little paranoid I will fuck it up. If I bring the stick and buttons there, would any of you fine gentlemen help a brother out and show me the ways of the ancients?

EDIT: Also, I noticed SF4 will be running on 360s. I have a Ps3 HRAP3 so that obviously won’t work. That said, will you be providing a stick, or will I have to resort to bumming a stick off someone else?

If your stick your trying to put sanwa buttons in is your HRAP3, you might need some dremeling done. Hori likes to have little metal tabs in the button hole and those will have to be dremeled away if your stick has those tabs.

I think if you suck at 3rd strike then he’s right. Unlike SOME GAMES that I know of, having the best character doesn’t make you a threatening player and you can’t get by off of fundamentals against somebody who knows the system in and out.

… but this is just me making a point about how much SF4 doesn’t have to offer to me.
