Paul- Again… GGAC has always been $10. Their community demands and expects that.
Pat- Bmoe is talking about not coming again because he winds up playing the people he came with. He feels that if the fee were increased, better players would come out. It’s not about the money, because he’s not gonna get any, most likely, regardless of if out of towners come, since I own him free.
Advertise it as a $10 tourney… if the out-of-towners don’t show, then you might as well make it a $5 tourney. That way, bmore doesn’t pay $10 to play the people he came with.

Thats basiclly half the cvs2 brackets, and the constant winners. And cvs2 aint much of a game you can just put down $5 for…you gotta do more.

We can rant and argue all we want. The bottom line is more money will allow the players to take the game more seriously. Don’t we want the community to improve as far as competition? Might as well make c3 an all day casual event instead of looking at the big picture.

otherwise the 10 dollars you raised it cut the field in half…which would give same money in the end

Tekken is usually 10, GG is always 10… im kinda suprised that the capcom community dosen’t fork at least 10 at games they want to get good at…
ill do 10 for ST… even though im not the greatest…cuse tourney exp. is the best exp. imo… so i dunno
i think it’ll attract more people… and plus i think the tourneys will run faster cuse it will slide out all those “potential” people…

yeah…the reason t5 and gg are 10 dollars and it works is because most tekken and gg players only play tekken or gg. they arent entering 4 games.
