C.Viper Combos and Glitches

ahh word, i gave that method a try and fell short lol. the way i do it now is imbedded in my muscle memory so i’m having diffuculty changing it lol. kudos to your bro though good find indeed.

Edit: Nmd, I used the d, db, b, uf + K motion you guys been talking about and omg what a difference 1000x easier

Any tips on the input for following an Ex Seismo with a sjc burning kick? I can do it maybe 3/10 times by just quickly hiting d uf and sweeping all the way to b then K, but is there an easier way? A better motion?

Is it possible to combo into you Ultra from an ex burning kick? I been messing around with j.hk into ex burning kick into ultra in the corner but doesn’t seem like there is any timing that allows the ultra to hit.

Dunno if this combo was posted but I got this out on a Ken that was stunned in the corner

You can cancel a MP tk into ultra? I know oyu can into super, but to ultra?

It isn’t a cancel. It’s pretty much using MP TK instead up SJC Flame Kick after the EX Seismo. The MP TK “juggles” which allows the Ultra to connect. No need to cancel. Plus it just looks sexier

SO im back to playing her, just too nice. Can anyone get hp tk (trade antiair) ex tk, link ultra? I cant get the ultra t connect, but I feel like it should…

I’ve yet to see the opponents animation after being hit with EX TK in the air. How do they fall?

So I was messing around in training mode trying to find some uses for Ex Burning Kick, and I dunno if this has been mentioned but in a corner you can j.hk to w.burning kick sjxxEx Burning Kick for a 6 hit combo.

I just tested and here are viper Ex Seismo follow ups by the numbers All ex sesimos were preformed after a st.hp

Note: The feint that some japanese players use (like joe) isn’t actually necessary you just need to delay your hjc a little…

These are all the combos without Ultra that I could think of if you have another one let me know… Hopefully people know when they can add an ultra. But what this list basically says is unless you hit your seismo from hella far away and can’t do a mp tk, do a mp tk combo! or I guess if you want to be fancy and tack a super on at the end of that hp tk combo midscreen cause it does look dope.

I used to do this(actually, I thought everyone did this :confused:), but that method was the main cause of myself getting EX TKs instead of a feint. I’m now using the 2-button method after obtaining console, and I find it easier for myself to get feints instead of straight EXes. I guess its preference, some people may embrace one, and others may embrace the other

For lp TK however, I do qcb+lp, mp+hp. It’s just a matter of whats easiest for my fingers to do

Editing my last post as I realized the Ex seismo hjc HP TK to super doesn’t work… cause you don’t have meter hahah. But it does work after focus, dash, lp seismo… and as I just checked youtube madteaparty apparently had the same idea…

Yeah my brother seemed to do well with that method but now that you mention it…I’ve been trying it myself and more of the time I get EX than the actual cancel. Yet, my brother did say that he thought the method was better for cancelling HP TK’s by themselves. He does a regular 2 button cancel for combos because the timing isn’t as strict. I added that to my post later on and I’m starting to figure that out now. When I try that cancel method after the c.HP I end up throwing EX knuckle all over the place and look like a fool. :lol:

Guess I’ll go back to training and see what I find.

I’m having trouble pulling off Viper’s Focus Attack > EX Thunder Knuckle > Burst Time combo as shown in Trial 4 of her Challenge Mode. I can pull off all three, but Burst Time just won’t connect no matter how fast I input the command. Is there something I’m not seeing? Do I need to have the opponent in the corner or something?

Yeah, you need the opponent to be near the wall but with enough space behind him so you can fit in.

Thus far, that is my single favorite Viper combo. Reminds me of overkill in Soulcalibur. Bitch I don’t give a shit if the announcer said KO! You aren’t going down yet!

Thats not true. You can do it midscreen. Just make sure you buffer the dash and do the ex knuckle ASAP.

Someone test the damage on this since I don’t have SF4 accessible here:

c.fierce xx TK feint c.fierce EX Seismo HJC RH Burning kick, fierce TK FADC tigerknee EX burning kick (2 hits)

Ill check it when I get home. You are sure that connects? seems like they’d be to low after the fierce tk. But I’ll check it out.
