Yeah 3S had those sick ass resets you could combo off of. SFIV goes back to the mind game only resets.
Ive noticed i cant phyically hp tk feint at all online on overseas hosting. The animation for the feint will start, then i will magically teleport half way up into a hp tk. Either that or its negative edge shenanigans, i swear its the former tho lol. So i exclusively use mp tk feint for combos.
I don’t even attempt it online lol. Unless we were gifted with a sea of green bar connections like they’re sporting in Korea and Japan, I’ll keep that to offline play.
Definitely sounds like Nobody needs to turn on Autoblock.
Maybe i typed the wrong thing because i did it again in a xbox live match im not sayin seismo to super jump fierce kick to burning kick then ultra i know that wont work. I messed up on the seismo to super jump burning kick to ultra i just did a seismo to regular fierce kick then as he landed i caught him in the ultra its risky yeah they could block on their way down be he didnt.
I turned on Auto-block and seismo to super jump fierce kick then as he lands from the fierce kick he blocks the ultra yeah i knew that.

I’m not near a system but can someone do a combo/damage check for me?
I want to note that this is probably impractical and flashy but I just wanted to see. Uses two ex stocks.
lvl 2 or 3 FA, lp seismo xx SJC FADC, hp TK xx FADC, Ultra.
Pretty much don’t lose the two stocks until you FADC the hp TK. Thought this would be a cool way to get some good life for those who like to show off.
Also, instead of Ultra you could do another TK, or a normal to reset.
I think with the whole super bar, you could probably do another hp TK xx FADC to take them to the corner and then probably do like a mp TK then ultra.
But yeah, if anyone is near a console give it a try, and I’ll try myself when I get home.
This actually works without the first SJC FADC you can just do lp seismo immediate SJC HP TK wait a little bit, ultra, for no stock, and you can’t do a mp tk after a hp tk even when fadc’d only thing that works is an ultra or a hp tk or an ex Burning Kick

Got my custom stick in the mail today. Gonna be practicing SJC FADC on that today fo sho. I’ll post a link with some early pics of the stick. I’ll post some more later when I finish with the artwork for the back of the stick.

Can’t you SJC FADC the hp TK?
HP TK doesn’t have super jump frames so probably not. AFAIK you can only SJC moves that have super jump cancelling frames. You can’t just decide to super jump through the air before your HP TK comes out. Actually that’d be really cool if you could. :lol:
Thx for the props on the stick. I chose it cuz it was very business like and fits Viper’s persona. Plus it’s different and it’ll be easy to carry around in tournaments. The best part (other than the sick artwork) is it works on PS2/3 and 360.
