It’s easier if you super jump. Something about the J.H is different when you super jump. I think it has more hitstun than normal.

Since Viper combos seem to be so much stronger with assists, could someone post notations for a combo that involves Viper and Doom’s hidden missile assist? I see a lot of combos involving his plasma beam, but none involving hidden missiles.
5MH (call missiles) 623L sj. ad.f jHjS 5MHS (missiles hit) sj. j214C 5MHS jMMH dj. jMHS 623L 214M+H. There’s probably better shit to do but I only tested a bit, timing was a bit hard as well.
Came here to check up on Viper after all the findings of various character nerfs. My milf is still okay right? I haven’t found any changes so far and I hope I don’t.
Seismo hitbox nerfed slightly. Burning Kick pop up increased by a little bit on specific versions. Makes it easier to combo. Damage is same, Hit-stun same. Need new combos for using assist relaunches. Medium TK coveral dumbed down slightly. TK feints on hit easier. New move. That about covers it? Oh yeah and stair-kick loop different from characters hurtboxes being smaller in the air.

Yeah and I finially did that EX Seismo testing. There appears to be no change, probably just wierd hitbox foibles making me suspicious.
Is there any trick to getting that rapid slash to hit after seismo? They always seem to get hit by seimo then rise too high to get hit by rapid slash.
Not really a trick. Just gotta call the assist as soon as you see Viper touch the ground then delay the seismo as long as possible since rapid slash has slow start-up. That’s the part I have trouble with myself I still drop it pretty often.
You can delay your j.S slightly to make the relaunch a bit easier.
I guess it depends on what combo you do. I have a combo with Jam Session that does 798k and builds about 1.5 meter.

You have to pause after calling out Dante so that the Jam Session holds them in the air but close to the ground and the TK’d BK must hit at the end of Jam Session. You have to TK it bc Viper will still be in recovery from Seismo
Have you considered using Ammy as anchor? Cold star lock down helps Viper and Doom mixup game and Okami Shuffle is great for DHC’s and THC’s. Also, Ammy’s new xfactor bonuses make her a decent anchor this time around.
Also I’m new to the forums but I’d say I’m a pretty experienced Viper player. However, due to work and school I haven’t, until now, been able to work on a combo extension using Ammy’s cold star. The timing of it has changed since vanilla and I believe there’s one involving burning kick cancels but I haven’t been able to find it. Anyone have any notations for one? All help is appreciated.
I spent a day getting BK Feints perfect, then realized I was using L BK instead of H so I need to relearn it. I feel so dumb
What exactly are you doing that you need H BK instead of L BK?
H BK is faster in the air. L BK is faster on the ground.

is there anything i can do to get more damage i’ve tried quite a bit of things but i’m having no luck

so the BK feint combos must be done with the H version of BK ?
I think you’re missing some notations, unless it’s possible to hit a seismo after a TK cancel. I…wouldn’t know if it were true, but I’ve never done it.
Are you adding in the 100k from the poison effect? Admittedly it won’t kill them if the poison damage is what drains the last of their life. I modified your combo and came up with this:
2M, 5H xx qcf+M~S, 5H xx qcf+M, 5M, 5H, 5S (1hit) xx dp+L xx back normal jump xx IAD forward, j.H, j.S, 5M, 5H, 5S, sj.M, sj.M, sj,H, dj.M, dj.M, dj.H, dj.S, call Hawkeye, dp+L, 2147+H, 5S, sj.H, dj.H, dj.S, dp+L xx qcb+2 attacks.
Got me 898.4k+100k for the poison. Seems pretty good to me. The 2 assist combo I use with Hawkeye and Strider only gets me about 6.5k more damage.
