I got a question for you Doom fans out there and and hidden missiles. What kind of consistent (and maximum) damage output are you guys getting in your combos with the missiles? just curious.
here is my c.viper bnb, probably already posted by someone, but its fairly easy to do and does good damage, might help some new viper players out there.
(if out of reach of the corner, one may also do j.m,j.m,j.h , double jump j.m,j.m,j.h, heavy burning kick, land, burst time.)

im getting between 800-900k with one bar and up to 1 mil with dhc to doom. I just cant think of a good anchor for both these characters besides strider but I dont really wanna use strider as anchor
Hello, I just picked up UMVC3 and going with Trish/Viper/Doom/Lei Lei, not sure yet except for Trish and probably Viper.
I’m looking for a semi-advanced bnb midscreen and corner with viper, with and without assists, that I can learn to start of with. There seems to be a ton of version of combos one can do with viper which makes me feel a bit lost of which one to practice.

The combo SehMehNoV posted is pretty much the solo BnB I use. You could take that combo and modify to your own particular team, for example my combo w/assists is:
from tri-dash/poke, M,H, MTk (feint on hit), M,H, L seismo, 28 DF, j.H, j.S, land, M,H,S, j.MMH, dj.MHS, land and call nova assist, 2 chained L seismo, nova assist hits, S, jH,dj.HS, L seismoxxBurst time
If you started from midscreen you’ll usually end in the corner, but from corner to corner I sometimes just cut it short.
I was also wondering if anyone had a video of a combo where they use the Dante jam session ender in ultimate (call jam session, L seismo, L seismo, pause, TK Hbk)? I’ve tried grinding it out in the lab but I can’t get it to work for me >.<…they always tech out before my.Hbk hits them. I’ve also tried taking out the j.Ms before the nova assist and I still have the same problem.

k guys, i think this combo is worth the effort to learn, timing is a little tight but the damage is worth it, if you use vergil it nets me close to 1 million dmg starting with one bar. i think like 950k actually
j.S, c.M, H, mTK ~ S, c.M, H, m.TK~S, h.TK~S (yes it links), sj. H, L burnkick fient, sj.H, sj, S, land, H, S, sj.H, dj.H, dj.S, land call assist (i use dante weasel shot), L seismo, sjc burn kick, S, sj.H, dj.H, dj.S, land, burst time (i omit seismo cause sometimes they pop out), dhc to spiral swords (hold L), lunar phase, lunar phase, (ground bounce), 6+H, wait till they corss over, let go of roundtrip, c.H, L judgment cut, c.H, lunar phase. You can go into high time dimension slash after if they arent dead.
I’ve been doing this on wesker and it works, should work on everyone but not sure about small characters…someone test, i dont have patience lol thanks.

I’m trying to figure out a way to use Vajra to add more TKs to the beginning of the combo. So far, the most promising is actually using H.TK after calling Vajra and then catching them with a M.TK on their way back down to the ground after being hit by Vajra. The timing is annoying though, since the timing of the M.TK varies depending on how I timed the H.TK after calling Vajra. Has anyone else had any luck with this?
I would try to use your other assist at the beginning if possible. I use Vajra at the end to either double Seismo dash up Super when mid screen or Seismo, H Thunder Knuckle, Seismo, Super in the corner.
My other assist is Jam Session. =|
Ah, mine too. I just do really simple 8-900k combos though, nothing fancy.
With jam session can you do this:
j. m j. h burn kick land and then relaunch?
Yeah, I know, I have a nice 800-900K using Vajra for a relaunch and using JS as an ender before super (no where near having that completely down). But it’s all about dem TKs now! We’re seeing people break 1,000,000 using a single bar, and I don’t want to believe that I can’t do anything about it! D=
See, I just don’t see that being smart. With all those hits, the rest of the combo will probably be scaled/decayed like crazy. I mean, we can only really know by testing it out, but theoretically, using JS as anything but a combo ender should just ruin the whole combo.
Actually, I don’t really know what I get with Just Strider and Viper… hmm… I’m gonna have to check.
That is a great list to get started with, and I totally can vouch for what your saying coming back to her. When I first started she just looks daunting as heck and you can be discouraged when you try to start with her. But once you mess around with other characters and you think your execution is good enough coming back to her is very rewarding.
I’m kind of midway through your list of stuff, I just started breaking 750k with one meter and no assists. I need to work on my RSeismo, I can get usually 3 reps out. But I think that should be good enough for the time being.
I’m still working on the more practical aspects or landing the hit, getting in and using assists. But it’s coming along. Right now I’m keeping her in the lab till I have 1 or 2 more things down then I will start taking her online.
so whats the secret for hitting seismo>j.H J.S>s.H consistently??? i can’t figure it out it seems so random H will sometimes hit and sometimes come out to late. I can’t tell if you need to sj. normal jump, jump back air dash, jump forward airdash ect…
if you talking about box dash combo. i use dash jH jS sM sH or if you talking about the jH try delaying it a little or you can use jM its more easy.
I just tend to do seismo > jump cancel > ADF j.H J.S > S.H etc
ya i know what to do it just doesn’t work some times s.H misses/comes out to late.
