Hahaha, that’s pretty funny. Though, I have to admit, I’m skeptical about the damage. A reset so early in a combo doesn’t make much sense, especially since the reset starts immediately where the original combo left off. That is to say, were you trying to do the full combo, after the TKs you would have done seismo > box loop, and that’s exactly where you’re taking up the combo after the grab. So the only difference is that instead of a true combo it’s a reset that they have a chance of escaping, and you now have the damage scaling from the grab.
Of course, I’m only speaking theoretically. I don’t know how it actually turns out.
Yeah you got the jist of it correct, and our right the damage is crap I think i get about 500-550k from the throw reset. Where it really comes in handy is when you have your opponent in a blockstring and you want to open them up just go for the tick throw after the feint(provided they didn’t pushblock).(Shoutouts to gottnoskill)
What I was referring to earlier was just that earlier today I played one of those people that do nothing but hold down-back on the other side of the screen and beam super. So whenever I put him into a block string I would do the ABC,TK Feint, Tick throw into combo. If my magic series did connect i would do ABC, M.TK, Feint, ABC, M.TK, Feint, Tick Throw./ Ex. Seismo / or just finish the combo

Testing out Viper (BK Assist)/Vergil (Rapid Slash)/Nova (Centurion Rush) still playing around with the order of Vergil/Nova at the moment.
Combo is c/s.M, c/s.H xx M Thunder Knuckle, Feint on hit, c/s.M, c/s.H xx L Seismo, IAD j.H, j.S, land, s.M, s.H+Vergil Rapid Slash Assist xx M Thunder Knuckle, Assist hits, S, sj.H, dj.H, j.S, land, call Nova Centurion Rush Assist, L Seismo, Assist hits, S, sj.H, dj.H, j.S, land, L Seismo xx Burst Time. It builds a bar and a bit and you can DHC into Nova DP+AA for 1 million plus damage or DHC into Vergil super for 900, 000+ damage or DHC into his Summon Swords for less damage but positional advantage. Hit stun scaling kicks in at the last minute before you do j.S at the end if you start the combo with a trijump attack. I’m trying to modify this to make it universal.
Can you guys tell me the bnb for Viper combos with Dante and Magneto as assists? I heard she’s capable of reaching 800 damange easy? I know how to the the box loop consistently now and her fadc seismo relaunch and still trying to do seismo chains 3 times. Is she supposed to be like Zero in which she relaunches with each assists call? What combos do not work in Ultimate? I still have Vanilla but I’m practicing her.
Which burn kick should I use to extend combos? I’m using magneto and dante and I’m playing vanilla version for now. For instance I do call the magneto assists after seismo L and cancel sj.burn kick which version? I keep missing it so I just do sj. fadc s. What’s the cornerless bnb?

Im trying to find a new character to replace magneto so i can do a midscreen relaunch.
Problem is i cant. Right now im doing a solo midscreen relaunch by using ex seismo, but i dont wanna waste the bar.
Any suggestions???

There’s a little bit of a disagreement about that in the community. And by the community, I mean me vs everyone else. Most everyone uses seismo > JC L.BK. I use seismo JCC H.BK. It’s supposedly “easier” to land the JC L.BK, but I just never bothered to learn it because I already had the timing for H.BK down.
I have this same issue. Supposedly, the relaunch works the same if you just FADC the OTG seismo.
Well, a lot of assists won’t work any more, and many of the multi-hit ones that will cause too much HSD to be worth it. The key is to find the right 1 hit assists that work. That means pretty much any wall/ground bouncing assist should do the trick. I’m using strider with Vajra. I use double seismo and then FADC into H before they hit the ground. It’s harder, but it works.
nice… ive been doing M,H,S xx MTKfeint, cM,H,S xx seismo, box loop, land, M,H,S+rapid slash xx Lthunder knuckle, jH, djH, jS xx EXBK, S, jH, djH, jS, land, jam session, siesmo, siesmo, air HBK , burst time. It builds over one bar and damage is around 850 i think(havent been to trainning mode so unsure about damage)
Gonna have to find a way to avoid using the EXBK or build more meter… after work i’ll hit trainning and try something like M,H,S xx MTKfeint, cM,H,S xx seismo, box loop, land, M,H,S xx seismo, jH,djH+rapid slash, jS, (RS hits) land, dash, IAD, jH,jS, land, H, S, jH, jH, jS, jam session ender. Im sure that stair loop can be used to bring them back down out of the air for a relaunch as well…needs testing
I found a better combo with Viper/Vergil/Nova with the same assists.
c.M, c.H xx M Thunder Knuckle, Feint on hit, c.M+Call Nova Cenutrion Rush assist, c.H xx M Thunder Knuckle, Feint on hit, Nova assist hits, dash forward (not required in the corner), c.M, c.H xx L Seismo, IADF, j.H, j.S, land, s.M+Call Vergil Rapid Slash Assist, s.H xx M Thunder Knuckle, Vergil assist hits, before they hit the ground, s.H, S, sj.M, j.M, j.h, dj.M, j.M, j.H, j.S, land, OTG L Seismo xx Burst Time.
You get a little over 900k damage with this combo and if you DHC into either character you’ll get 1million damage. The combo builds one bar.
Timing wise when you do IADF j.H. j.S you have to delay the j.H a bit otherwise j.S whiffs. After the box dash if you get the lowest possible height with the follow up then you can s.H, S after rapid slash hits and get the full aerial combo. If you hit it too high then you have to go for S instead s.H, S and depending on the height between you and your opponent after S you might have to shorten the aerial combo otherwise you risk whiffing a move.
Since disruptor relaunch no longer works, i played around with other assists too and found out that weasel shot works. It basically works the same way disruptor did in vanilla, you just have to delay the seismo a tad more. It also works with either jcc h bk and sjc l bk. I also switched from mags back to ammy for anchor, coldstar is still godlike for lockdown and mixups and she’s a beast anchor now, it’s so funny. Veil of mist plus xf3, wtf? ^^ opponent can barely move at all and she’s fast as hell, and still has her instant overhead against the whole cast when she’s in xf, it’s ridiculous.
Hey, I made some videos of the (2 lol) viper/pw/strider combos I’ve come up with to this point. That strider ender from Epic Squid was too good.
